@cr0ssingpath5 Thanks! Look on our website everydaydish (dot) tv. On the left side of the homepage, you'll see a tab that says "seitan". Click on it and you will find a recipe for Vegan Turkey Roast. It's perfect for Thanksgiving!
@BlackSkullz09 Non organic tofu is often given a chemical bath before being processed as Tofu or other products. It is important to use only USDA Organic Soy products whether it be Silk, Tofu, or anything else. Try to go all organic or free range non-GMO, you will save yourself from more cancers that way.
Also, there is a lot of missinformation about soy out there. Soy has been eaten in Asia for thousands of years, and they have the lowest rates of cancer. I personally love soy.
From what I've read, the chemicals are used in manufacturing TVP. I try to buy and use organic soy products the majority of the time, because the soybeans are non-gmo and not sprayed in the fields. I don't worry about it every time I eat soy.
Great recipe! I like the idea of putting them in little tins of there own, that way i can pig out on my own little pie without worrying about getting my germs in standard pie.
Could you sub the cornstarch for potato starch?? & almond milk for coconut?

I love your new haircut, it really flatters your face. Is that a vitamix? if not what type of blender is it?

I don't have any serry,it is possible for me to use Gin instead?
crazywanch101 1 year ago
@crazywanch101. I don't think gin would work here. Rum would work, or you can just omit it.
