  • I'd forgotten this! Loved it :)

  • Bob Monkhouse... king of the game shows & such a professional guy. Bob's Full House was the perfect format for Bob, he would build the excitement throughout the first rounds and then be the contestant's best friend if they were struggling so 9 times out of 10 they walked away with the holiday! As for the theme music, I love it!

  • R.I.P Bob you will be sadly missed

  • Back in the 80's, I had a bit of a Saturday night, 'routine.' I'd go get myself a few beers from the local off-licence, along with some nuts/crisps. Rush back home again just in time to get settled down to watch some quality TV. This was definitely one of those shows I never missed. How times have changed...

  • Is this why the casted Bob Saget to Fullhouse in America

  • I used to love this show, it was on in 1984 when I'd just started 6th form and this was on, I think it was a Saturday night. It brings back memories of eating my tea on my lap, and the dog asleep on the beanbag. I can just smell the quiche and salad now.

  • Great show, great host, great theme tune and great catchphrases too - 'In bingo lingo clickety-clicks, it's time to take your pick of the six' is, for my money, one of the best catchphrases in gameshow history. One of many shows that made Saturday night TV so good in those days - pity you can't say the same for the current offerings!

  • Ah dear old Bob Monkhouse sadly missed. It's a traversty he was never given a knighthood, and when are they going to give Brucie a knighthood???

  • @MITOGEN great comment. 2 legends with immense talent.

  • Bob had a joke for any topic. Great bloke.

  • i grew to like bobs dry daft humor..reminds me of my folks now..like, he knows its daft ya know..great stuff

  • Bob Monkhouse and Brucie are legends.

  • @gingernuts9 Sir Bruce. Should have been Sir Bob aswell.

  • What a legend

  • a simple gameshow far better than the awful gameshows we have now but I couldn't stand Bob Monkhouse

  • You just don't get decent gameshows anymore, they're all just smart-arsed crap nowadays, pretentious and annoying just like a lot of people nowadays!

  • saturday teatimes tv

  • Bob Monkhouse was one of the funniest men on television. Bob's Full House always began with a short run of jokes which had me in fits of laughter. He was the same age as Bruce Forsyth although looked years younger.

  • The preview picture says Bob's Full Ho#se

    LMAO

  • Always liked this show and loved the intro music as a kid, but was too young to fully appreciate just how good the opening titles are. And then of course, there's the genius that was Bob.

  • Fantastic stuff! Bob and Brucie - kings of the gameshow!

  • The Master of comedy too.

    rest in peace legend

  • Bob Monkhouse undoubtedly the king of the quiz shows.

  • best bit about this show was the opening 3mins of gags sir bob use to do ... i have them all on tape and if i knew how to i'd put the buggers up

  • Quiz shows are terrifying now. I want something frothy and shit like this cack.

  • I remember when this was on Saturday nights...gosh, I'm getting old!!!!!!!!!

  • Legendary a classic show and a legendary host! RIP Bob

  • I remember this saturday nights! memories hey! another legend gone!!

  • The Master of the House!!!

  • Ahh bless! sunday evening telly . Bobs Full House.... Juliet Bravo then bed ready for school!

  • It got remade 3 times by ITV! in the 90;s

  • ahhh!! thats what saturday nights were made for, classic!

  • Bingo Lingo Clickty Clix it's time to take your pick of the six. Think this was later re-done as One to Win with Andrew O'Connor and I think Lucky Numbers with Shane 'Mabawsa' Ritchie.

  • this show was the basis for "trump card" hosted by jimmy cefalo in the early 1990s and this show had a $100,000 tournament.

  • I have 3 editions of Bob's Full House which are the 1984 Christmas Special, 1985 Christmas Special and a New Year's Edition from 1989.

  • Would you be able to put a full edition of Bob's Full House on here for us please?

  • Well I don't have a video capture card at the moment.

  • When you do have a video capture card, will you please put Bob's Full House on here?

  • I always wanted to know how this show works. I know its similiar to Bingo, but as far as execution is concerned...
