At the Alcatraz gift shop I bought a book about films related to the prison. This was one of the films. Had a lot of background on the making of this and the locations.
Loosely based on Richard Stark's The Hunter. Check out the novel. It's fantastic. Also check out the graphic novel Parker by Darwyn Cooke. That's fantastic as well.

Great performance by Marvin. Loved the movie.
