This is Kerala for sure. My parents are Malayalis, and I highly doubt west bengal has the famous chinese fishing nets, which I have seen for myself in Cochin/Kochi.

I know that the music is not normal to the state (how would a foreigner know the difference?!), and those musicians at the beginning could be from somewhere else (the vast majority of north indians I saw, as tourists or workers, were in Cochin).

Think about it: how else would a foreigner know about "varkala" or "cochin"?
