Her head is so big compared to the kid's heads. Why couldn't they just have an actress play her? This is kind of creepy IMP. Merky too, should have gotten an actor.

@axolotlmafia The speaking voices for the characters are the same as the program, but often Animation doesn't transend to live well. Murky would have to have been played by a dwarf...and I wonder who would play Twink....I'm sure if it were done today, the characters would be animated still, only in "Roger Rabbit" liveaction/animated fashion....I might watch that...LOL.

In Germany Rainbow Brite was a real big hit. There was a long running audioplay-series which was way more popular than the TV-Show. The stories were fantastic. Perfect.

I always loved Rainbow Brite. But in this show she looks just scary. Can't believe kids liked to watch that. If I would see a "thing" like that, singing and jumping around, .... well, it would freak me out. Look at her eyes ... like a corpse!!!

LOL a corpse? the only unusual thing i find about her is that her face is this tiny sliver under her massive hair. but she's still adorable.

i could do without those fuzzy insects however. they are hella annoying.
