  • Looks like a nice job!!!

Would have been a much better video without all the text though

  • ha, bet the Polish destroyer enjoyed that as well . Payback be a bitch

  • Evidence from Dr Ballard supports the facts that even though the British Warships pounded the ship. she was scuttled by her crew. Overall it was a good thing the allies were able to destroy her and her sister ships.

  • @rangeclerk What evidence? I have got the National Geographic program about the exploration and the book and at no point does he give any evidence to state that she was or wasn't scuttled! Any evidence of scuttling would be under the waterline and that part of the ship is not visible as it covered by the sea bed?

  • hey Randal this is Justin from maryland, do you remember me? if not about a year ago we had made contact and i had asked you to build me a sunken bismarck lke this one and a sunken titanic, and we must have lost contact because i never heard back from you, hope all is well and i woulld love to talk about getting some models!!! take it easy and this model is beautiful!!!

  • Was it you who wanted help with contacts et.c?? If so I'm sorry to say the shipmodeller in our club wasn't at the last meeting.. Hopefully he'll be at the next one.. :)

  • Beautiful seascape.. or should that be seabottomscape?? It's one thing building a ship and make it look good.. but it takes a different level of skill to build a SUNKEN ship and make it look as good as this.. so well done!! :)

  • @BasicModelling Thank you! My next project is a 1/144 scale version of the Yorktown CV-5 sunk like the 1/700 version. Looking for a buyer first.

  • @modelman44 Buyer??

  • @BasicModelling Yes I need an interested buyer before I take this project on. No more working for free. I need the item sold before I build these days. It's a waste of time to build THEN look for a buyer. The big Enterprise did not sell so now I have to donate it to a museum. Working for free doesnt pay the bills.

  • @modelman44 True.. :) Well, to me it's just a hobby, obviously... but I'd love to model to standard good enough to make a living from it.. :) Was it you who wanted help with contacts et.c??
