  • If SOPA and PIPA are passed, then this will be the world that we will live in

  • Anyone else find it odd that an Obama advert was seen on this page?

Ron Paul is the only chance for this nation's presidency to actually mean anything. If you choose to vote for the popular candidate instead of the man who you believe would best represent you in our nation's highest office, then good for you. But I will not vote for a man who will take this nation further into debt, war, and bigger government.

  • I wish it was 1984 again, the REAL one and not Orwell's garbage version.

When Ronald Reagan was President and it was morning again in America. And it stood as a shining city on a hill as he envisioned.

  • @jacktheripoff1888 A DAMN LIE STOP FUCKIN YOURSELF IN THE HEAD! 1984=AIDS BLACKS WERE SET BACK FURTHER THEN TURNED OUT TO CRACK YOU ARE SO FUCKED IN THE HEAD IDIOT THATS WHY THIS WORLD IS GOIN TO BURN CUZ THERE ARE SO MANY IDIOTS LIKE YOU SUPPORTING THESE PSYCHOS. I WAS BORN IN AMERICA I AM BLACK I CAN"T WAIT TIL THAT DAY AMERICA GETS ITS ASS KICKED ALL AROUND THE WORLD THIS NATION HAS SPILLED MORE BLOOD IN THE PAST CENTURY AND IS DETERMINED TO CONTINUE IT DUMBASS FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU !!!!

  • @KudaanDaGreat

    "Most blood spilled?"

Soviet Union -1934-1938: The "Great Purge", 10-20 million Soviet Citizens arrested, sent to the gulags or executed.

Nazi Germany - 1939-1945: 12 million killed in concentration camps.

China -1966-1976: The Cultural Revolution, anywhere from 50 to 100 million Chinese citizens arrested, executed or sent to "re-education camps".

Cambodia: -1975-1979: 2 million Cambodian citizens arrested, sent to camps and executed.

  • @jacktheripoff1888 Not to mention that the Soviet Union actually killed about 80 million people in 80 years, which makes an average of about a million a year...

  • @Tinafigureskater

Thank you. I swear there are times where I think I'm one of only a very few people who think that hard-core socialisim is a bad thing. Although hard-core capitalisim needs to be held in check as well.

I think a good government has about a 25-30% socialist element to it. Social Security, Medicare, and so forth. Everyone is entitled to a helping hand in life, but not to have it held all their life.

  • This is the typical repsonse of a liberal democratic voter. Just because the Government won't pay for all the problems in your life doesn't mean you have the right to go and revise history in any way your see fit. And if you and democratic voting friends don't like it, fine, Leave. Go and live off some other socialist country in Europe.

  • @TheJrb727 The "socialist" (supposed) countries that have a higher standard of living than America? That are happier and healthier than America? That have a higher income per person than America? A more equal society? A free health care for all? OK!

  • @jacktheripoff1888 Are you kidding? Reagan was part of the NWO. Research some of the stuff he did as president.

  • What a poxy way to go.

  • Anyone who believes the Nazis were socialist due to their party name is a simple minded imbecile. They only put socialist in their name to seduce the socialists in Germany as they rose to power, and it obviously worked, and still works. The persistent confusion over this matter arises from the fact that once in power they never dropped the facade (Hitler ran with it, among other things, to the very end). The Nazis were as far removed from socialism as a political entity could ever possibly be.

  • @PersonalityDeficit87 Great post! To use a current example, the official name of North Korea is the "Democratic People's Repulic of Korea" (DPRK). Again, just because their name says "Democratic" and "Republic," doesn't mean that the country is either of those things.

  • NO human should ever endure this.. It it happens you guys are all to weak to stand against

  • @hazmat10bravo-- You must have Osama confused with Bush and Obama, they were the masterminds behind all these terror attacks. Osama worked for the CIA since the soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Osama was never indicted for 9-11 or brought to trial, why? What are they hiding from the taxpayers? Why is our military in Iraq and Afghanistan, when no hijacker was Afghani or Iraqi?A CNN reporter found Osama and inteviewed him, but the best military units in the world could not. You've been decieved.

  • Isn't this like....the end of the movie?

Atleast it's towards the end in the book...and this is only part 2.

  • Threatening with rats for not loving Big Brother is the same as smearing people by calling them racist for not agreeing with Obama. Don't obey? Then rather than discuss we'll punish you. And who does this? The press, the media. The Democrats. The Party.

  • @meshlife88 But you're doing exactly the same. Extremists are pretty much the same everywhere. Just replace Obama with Bush, Democrat with Republican, and you're no better than the same people you accuse...

  • @turduck1000 I hear you. I like and dislike things about ideas associated with both sides. But, one side in reality puts the collective above the individual, and that is the Democratic party. It wasn't always that way. JFK said ask not what your country can do for you, as what you can do for your country. Obama has that reversed now, and his message is the state should take care of you for health, jobs, etc. Consider that. But I do hear you, there is hate on both sides.

  • At 0:04 -0:06, Richard Burton glances at the cue-cards, but not "noticeably" so...

  • I'd bite the rat lol

  • Only within times of crisis can a free society be reverted to one of slavery. Not any fiscal or petty economic crisis where a few more people are out of work but still can eat. Not any social problem with discrimination or class struggle. Only through massive war, famine, drought, disease, discrimination of the higher order and genocide can a free society such as the ones many of us live in turn to ones like in 1984. I hear by the time we see such crisis, we would already be dead.

  • @GermanConquistador08 During a crisis, people prefer the stability of totalitarianism to the fear, uncertainty and anarchy of freedom. Almost every dictatorship has been installed during crisis - Caesar, Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot all took power during chaotic times.

  • WAR ON TERROR-1984 COMING TO LIGHT OCEANIA WEST VERSUS...

  • this is worse then the movie we ain't seen nothing yet

  • the most disturbing thing is that we have been lulled to sleep...we are in this movie...do we have to wait until things get this bad to do someting about it...hey mc donalds looks like they serve real meat and we still think we have choices

  • damn! I keep missing this on THIS tv channel. :( thank goodness I can watch it on youtube! thanks @landofheroes

  • This is what the collectivists have in store for our society.

  • @doobersmanster I had hoped...Beliefs, Political Viewpoints, and Independent Thinking were a right. Even if Collectivists are odds with Ultra-Patriots or in league with them, we may find our existence shifting closer to Orwell's Oceania. I have met thousands of people who tell me they are Cherokee. I ask them to tell me the story of thier people...they cannot. "Who Controls the Past, Controls the Present, Who Controls the Present, Controls the Future" I am just a Prole and a Thought Criminal

  • @TheEleventhIndian I am freedom, because I am human. I am human because of God created me. Without this concept I am nothing but cattle to be cared for by the cattle men. Cataloged, counted, raised by the mentors of the collective. We must fight the collective..Long live Goldstien. Establish the French Declaration of the rights of man 1789 as our states constitutions, reduce Gov and Government control and we may have a chance.

  • The most disturbing scene in an already disturbing movie.

  • There are times when I suspect we are living in a time of Collective Totalitarianism and we simply call it Democracy. Why is knowledge (getting an education) so expensive or better yet why is it so exclusive the more expensive it it? Is this by design or simply by natural evolvement of cost of living? The inversion of the housing market and the reaction/actions of large institutions and our elected officials really shook my belief that our "freedom" is not based on our income or credit rating.

  • I believe totalitarianism is a product or by-product of democracy.

  • ....and guess who enforces all of this? The cops who gets their asses kissed by all of you.

  • Somebody mess with parts. Why I cant watch all movie?

  • shit..im sorry..that cooment was menat for hazmat10bravo

  • Love your enemies, till they drop dead !

  • Don't comply.....educate your friends & do know it's no longer a conspiracy. TV is dangerous because a lot of people really believe TV. The public buys anything on TV, dress like the last MTV video & read garbage. If they showed girl's dating monkeys on TV and get a ceb to actually kiss one on TV....guess what? You'll start seeing girls dating monkeys. Because monkey see monkey do and the masses will follow.

  • @MrRonPaul2012

oh my god...i love you....i went a very prestiigious party in malibu and couldnt enjoy it. my stomach was turning at all the empty fucked up beautiful people. is this the " good life"? fuck that shit. i want no part of zombies with black gaping holes in their faces ... crammiing in alcohol, sex, ego and mindless stupidity, it was really frightening actually. i felt psychotic and hung out with a 9 year kid and the hosts scraggly dog...that made it worth the trip..serious;ly...

  • @vamppilot007: Check out an old movie called "Time machine" very interesting. I don't want to ruin it for you, but I can see you're deep. You'll see what I see in this movie. Beautiful zombies.

  • @vamppilot007 " i felt psychotic and hung out with a 9 year kid and the hosts scraggly dog...that made it worth the trip..serious;ly..."

    :))

  • @MrRonPaul2012 Who the fk watches Mtv these days? Grow up.

  • I am sick after watching that last scene. And I though 2 fast 2 furious was bad. When they put rats inside a pot over a mans stomache and lit it with a blow torch. I really don't know whats worse.

  • @xTheFormlessOneIGF1 Yeah I dont get that part. Why put the rat in the pot in the first place?

  • @HAZMAT10BRAVO

they put the rat on the guy's stomache, they covered the rat and stomache with the pot upside down. PUt a torch on the bottom of hte pot facing up, and the rat claws its way out......through your guts.

  • George Orwell is rolling in his grave for if he was still alive today he would of died due to sadness and fear that his book 1984 is coming true.

I trully weep for the future generations who will have to live in this horrible life of 1984 becoming a reality.

  • @narukofan2 I would say the western world is becoming more like Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. We are all becoming big consumersand many care more about pleasing themselves to be worried about the truth. This hipster culture that deserves to be criticized is made entirely of kids who do not have much individuality and are following a trend that stands for nothing but fitting in and consuming exspenisive goods. The vast majority of them have gizmos I could never afford nor do I ever even need.

  • @MexicanoINC I could not have said it better. I would also very much agree.

  • @thedarkone2134 Consumerism is tricky. We don't need a lot of the crap that's for sale yet we sort of need to buy it because western culture is about materialism and trying to get more and more crap. And a strong economy, which provides stability which we all like, requires us to buy that crap. It's like Fight Club where our objects own us. I'm not a dumbass with my money and buy the latest redundant apple product, but I always wish for things I can't afford. Like a new Marshal guitar amp. :'(

  • @MexicanoINC I disagree. The war on terror is somewhat similar to the perpetual warfare of 1984. Regardless of wether or not it is real it helps to instill fear in the population. Osama is or more correctly was an emmanual goldstein like figure. He was the mastermind behind many terrorist attacks and yet somehow managed to elude capture. A dangerous threat united the people against a common enemy.

  • @HAZMAT10BRAVO Good points. And also people hate what they don't understand, and the Western world does not understand Islam, so all Muslims, good and bad, are an easy target to hate and to lay blame on.

  • @HAZMAT10BRAVO But also consider that the culture in Brave New World is dead. There is no high art in that society and the same thing is beginning to happen today. Most kids aren't contributing anything to popular culture and most of what kids produce is recycled from previous generations and then sold back to them from the corporate world. This is all part of the strong consumerism prevalent in Brave New World and our world.

  • @MexicanoINC Agreed. Culture is becoming rapidly lost in todays world. But I believe fear and hate are more powerful than pleasure. Its easy to play on peoples paranoia and direct their hate against an enemy. Plus, the point of modern warfare is no longer conquest. Its more for economical advancement. The arms trade, hiring private contractors. In a way, this could be considered a perpetual war since many parties use war to earn a profit.

  • @MexicanoINC

there isnt anything wrong with recycling. all art comes from something that already is. kids cant contibute because they arent taught to think for themselves. thats what genius is, the ability to step and think and reach outside and grab a little crazy.. there are many things for sale but sadly the buyers are not discimminating. shit sells because dummies buy it. people can only shove on us..the bullshit we are willing to buy..

  • @HAZMAT10BRAVO this isn't a war on terror as much as it is a repercussion of our frequent and unjustified occupations in middle eastern countries over the last 40 or so years. we've killed far more of their civilians for a much longer period of time that this was bound to happen. It's not terrorism, it's simply evolution of warfare. just like guerrilla warfare was, but the US is that annoying kid who screams "NO FAIR" when in fact it is, but used it as an excuse to cause hysteria.

  • IS THIS YOUR OWN FORM OF BEING BIG BROTHER ?...YOU ONLY PLAY THE SCENES YOU LIKE, AND IN THE ORDER YOU WANT TO SHOW THEM.

  • the room for me would be justin bieber and kim kardashian concert. I wouldn't last a minute.

  • At 2:05 "The thing that is in room 101 is the worst thing in the world."

Well, You do notice all those 101, dont You?

  • The human race is a disease and the world is about to shake us off like so many fleas. We were given everything. Every gift in the known universe. Yet, everyday, we turn on ourselves like the rat's in Winston's cage. We deserve all that we suffer.

  • @velveetaslingshot Sounds like you are suffering from an epic case of self-loathing. You may not deserve anthing, but I deserve everything. Right now I want a Three Muskateers Bar...and by God as my witness...I shall have one.

  • am i alone in thinking this movie sucks and the book rocks?

  • @stripeyninga I don't think the movie sucks, but I do think the book is better. The book has so much the movie never could, I think a good part of that is the subject and what it's talking about.

I enjoy watching the movie but I love the book.

  • @stripeyninga Yes, you are.

  • read the book. it is far better than the movie.

  • Burton saved his best for the end of his life. Totally Stellar!

  • It's almost here...

    thehill.c o m/homenews/administration/130549-next-step-for-body-scanners-could-be-trains-boats-and-the-metro

..then your house, then your bedroom.

  • patriot act homeland security is Big Brother.

  • WTF THIS MOVIE IS FKD

  • Funny how this starts. O'brien crapping on, and Winston saying repeatedly "I love you" I think there would be some bloopers there.

  • The scariest form of torture is the kind that makes you stop loving another human being and instead makes you love the state, or ruling group.

  • @Barackhenaten which author said that?

  • @Barackhenaten exactly what goes on every day in North Korea.

  • @Barackhenaten

    that is what religion does.

it stops us from loving those of other religions or race, on the basis of the commands of those in power, with religion being the undeniable justification of such actions.

  • @Barackhenaten The wisdom of your words rings true in the hearts of all that are truly human.

  • @Barackhenaten

It's only words, at least in a great majority of cases.

  • @Barackhenaten

Such are the seeds of fascism and ultranationalism.

  • So sorry for the post directly beneath this one, and the poster who not only thinks that the current president is her savior, but that the president makes a difference at all... Talk about misunderstanding the situation.

  • I had pet rats before... they are actually pretty cute :3

I even trained them to come to their names and to sit still when I groomed them

I was really sad when they died :(

  • Where's the movie? It was on YT 2 years ago.

  • Eric Blair [pen name George Orwell] was a great man. His literary works identified his loathing of 'Imperialism', wherever he saw it demonstrated - in all its forms. He fought in the Spanish Civil because of this belief. He died at the age of 46 and did not receive the acclaim he deserved as he was one of the greatest writers of all time. Further reading: The Hanging. Although, all of his works are well worth reading.

  • MSNBC = 1984

  • @puck30

no, you're thinking of Fox News

  • FUCK

  • i have never seen this, never knew the android from Aliens was in this, looks like a really good film.

  • @sharall John Hurt wasn't the android from Aliens, he was in "Alien" but wasn't an android. And it's a great film...but an even better book.

  • @photolitherland That's not Fox, its alex jones, look around on youtube. His brainwashed followers are everywhere. Try the "Obama deception" its 2 minutes hate, except movie length and a horrible plagiarism of 1984 in many respects.

  • Fox News, paving the road toward 1984

  • @rpcarnell all the media is paving such a road

  • wtf?? i thought this was the actual movie :[[ shit fukin spoiled the book for me :/ i only wanted to see chapter 1 :[

  • @photolitherland lol ur an idiot, insoc is english socialism, fox news is the opposite, and bush was never really as popular as obama, this is the world under the cotrol of socialists such as you

  • @KHfan9100 I agree.

  • @KHfan9100

    What is English Socialism, please?

  • @joanii11 The NHS is a not bad example of English Socialism...

  • When the Government controls everything, everywhere. It's similar to a dictatorship. The Nazi's were socialists.

  • Comment removed

  • @Karnezar

we are living in 1084..the fucking joke is that they become smarter.. tell the people that they are free.. dont be to oppressive..pipe the bullshit in subtle like so they dont notice..through the media..dont force them to accept..appeal to their desire.. their vanity. its the same game played from anothe angle isnt it. we think we are free. but we are fucking monkeys in a big fishbowl.. pardon my mixed metaphors..how stupid are we?

  • @Karnezar nooo, the sovjet was socialists.. the complete oposite of nazism. the nazis definitively did not fight for equality.

  • I know the Nazi's hated Communism, but Nazi is short for "National Socialist German Workers' Party" so they're socialists.

Socialists are in favor of more Government control, which is also what Communism supports. So that confuses me.

  • @Karnezar Wrong. Hitler stuck "Socialist" into the name to attract people from the German Communist Party and other Left-wing groups in the 1920s. If he had been honest, he would have called the party the "Racist Fascist German Workers Party", but nobody would've joined.

  • Ahh, that makes more sense. Still seems weird that he'd call his group Socialist while also being against it.

  • @Karnezar Communist is a more exaggerated form of socialism. Socialist is seen as more left-wing and so is communist, fascists is seen as more right-winged. But what people don't know and tell you is that there are two kinds of communism, two kinds of socialism, and two kinds of fascism, all of them which was entered after anarchy caused by them all. There is a left and right winged communism, socialism, and fascism. So both parties lead to it. the only way to escape is a republic. Libertarians.

  • @BlackRose2354 Although this may sound corny and academic- I sometimes hear the phrase "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few" Is this a precursor of socialist thinking of sorts? It's not a very individualist idea or maybe it is

  • @TheEleventhIndian It does sound very... community wise. Kind of reminds me of Brave New World. Though, I have heard of the phrase, it barely reminds me of socialism (but I do see how it is a socialist saying), and more a democracy (which is corrupted and will lead to anarchy) or communism. An individualist rewording of that would be "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few only if the needs of the many does not violate the rights of all."

  • @BlackRose2354 I have a terrible feeling we are both "Thought Criminals" or have commited "Thoughtcrime". One need of the many is "Quality and Affordable...Education and Healthcare" I think I'll write an essay (not publish of course) that describes how overwhelming poverty, ignorance, and sickness can sustain the wealth, lifestyle, and financial structure of primarily 10% of the country's population. Maybe a graphic novel...In the meantime, I'll continue to hunt Trolls and kick rocks

  • @KHfan9100 - Your post demonstrates an astounding misunderstanding of politics, history and George Orwell's book. It doesn't matter if every single person on the planet thought Obama was just as jolly as pie - it isn't about "popularity" - it is about control. Bush and those who supported him wanted the people of the US to be ignorant and to never question what the government is up to. Obama would be the opposite of that. Be careful where you get your information because ignorance will get you.

  • well this a glimpse into the near future im thinking obama is big brother!

  • huh...

so much for love, I guess...?

Um, I'm a bit confused about wehat's going on, though.

  • @amyrose128 the scene with Julia was just a dream Winston was having.
