This door locked for me. Why?

i played the game once and once more just now, when i first played i found the socom where this guy found the thermal goggles, and my second time playing i found the socom alot earlier in a truck where the heliport is in the beggining of the mission

so im about i fourth the way through the game. i am so lost. i need the thermal goggles and i didnt see that stupid door open before and i cant get in there.... any advice?

FUCK! the one thing i forgot. been many years since i played this game. and now i play it again and gues what. so far as i have come you cant open that door!:-O

how do i get trough those lasers whit out em? SHIT!!!!

@andvas1994 You have to use the cigarettes, the smoke will very faintly show the lasers, although when I do that I die, like, 5 times. Every. Single. Time.

so long sinse the last time i played so... the first time i played it i also forgot the gogles. so i used the smokes then also.

Also, you can go back with a lvl4 card (I believe) and open the door.

I have no idea. This was my first time playing the game, so I don't know why the goggles weren't there. Sorry I couldn't help.

I had the same thing happen to me. I got a Socom where you got the thermal goggles. Oh well. I'm pretty far into it and I still haven't needed the goggles, so I hope they aren't necessary later.

When I found the Socom in place of the Thermal Goggles, the Thermal Goggles don't actually show up until floor B2 of the Nuclear Warhead Warehouse in the gas filled area in a small room where you need Security Card 6 or 7 to get in.

@ArvindKapila watch ep 3 and you'll see he gets the socom in the truck so then when he gets to the room where you got the socom you will get the thermal goggles

@ArvindKapila You might want to start over your game then.when you're outside after the hind takes off there is a truck outside the big metal doors.enter the back of the truck to find the socom.the place where you found the socom the first time will have the thermal goggles.I'm not sure if it works the other way around though.
