The nice thing is that ther is nearly no lag between eye sight and screen display, not like many cameras that display picture 0.5s late.
On the road, a 0.5s can mean life or death.

actually The Infrared camera was invented in 1910 by Robert Wood, in America, he also invented Ultraviolet Imagery as well.

This copy Lexus infrared night vision introduced in 2003 LX 470. Cadillac was actually the first but used thermal imaging so it wasnt that good. Lexus technology is being copied by BMW and Mercedes.

The 7-Series has an ANALOGUE instrumentation while this Benz has a DIGITAL one. It also has similarities with the 7-Series, like the vents and the shape of the wood trim for example.
