@FanOfAllMeatEaters The Kani avatar is not. It's about 4 years old at this point (and pre-sculptie, but it's aged well). The Pony muzzle, if you have the avatar already, is free. I many need to update the SLURL in the description.

What program are you using?

@SebastianNO2 This is recorded in Second Life, and the viewer I was using at the time was the now-defunct Emerald client. If you mean what did I record it with, it was the then-still-in-beta Procaster client, which is part of what made the sound quality so poor.

Hey thank you, I thought it was some kind of modelling program :)

Btw do you have advice which program I could use for 3D modelling (for making Fursuit heads and such)? I've already used Zbrush but the camera movement and the tools are too tricky.

@SebastianNO2 My computers are both pretty old, and getting modeling programs (current versions) is asking a little more of then than they can handle. Most suit makers don't use 3D modeling anyway (3D printers are out of the reach of most), they sculpt everything by hand. The popular base to use lately is a cast resin base which some suit makers will sell directly, but some still use all foam, foam on balaclava, or foam on plastic mesh for a base. (Continued...)

@SebastianNO2 If you aren't already there check out the fursuit community on LiveJournal. Since I can't post the URL, you'll have to go to LiveJournal and search for "fursuit." Lots of posts in the memories, and the community is overall helpful if you can't find anything there. :)

how do i get a horn like the one you have? :3

@Jessicamoonlight Go the the SL Marketplace, and click on the Merchants/Stores tab, and then search for Invisible Homewood (or Invisible Designs). The horn came from the "Sculpty Horns - Claws" builder's kit, and you can see the one I used right in the ad, largest one at the bottom. I don't recall what number it was, though. It's L$199 for a lot of random horns and claws, certainly worth it. :)

how do you do the rest for the mod kits like change the color i have a sergal and i bought the air elemental mod but dont know how to do it

@xAlphaWolf666 What you usually need to do is to be in a place where you have build rights, like a sandbox, or your own land, or a friend's land where they'll let you build. Drag a piece of the avatar to the ground, and replace the textures (one at a time, and don't forget any hidden textures), then change the name to let you know that's the edited piece and take it back into inventory. You can't usually wear the pieces and edit them unless you have made the textures yourself and have all perms.

@xAlphaWolf666 It really depends on what kit you have. I'm not familiar with the sergal mods (though I have an unopened one in my inventory, iirc). Usually, you just drop the prim you want to edit on the ground, and apply the textures by dragging from your inventory. (The texture picker in the edit window has long been broken.)

@luccaskunk Well, I'm sorry? I'm not sure what to say. I have sound on both my Mac and my PC, and on my iPhone, and no one I've asked is having the issue. Double check the video itself isn't muted? :x I'm not tech support. It is -very- quiet, but there is sound. I don't have anything on my PC to record with, or I'd re-record the sound. I'd actually re-record the whole video, since I don't want to have to bother with synching issues.

@Trollingwithmyhomies It's not an issue of speaking up so much as my line-in isn't powered, which makes plugging a mic in useless, and my built in was about 2-2.5 ft away from me. Once I can, I'll buy a USB soundcard... But that's for the future. :)

@TanyTatyLote The ears are the Kani ears, I just scaled them down and disabled the scripts to keep them from moving. The legs are from the Tokushi Chinese Crested, I just removed the fluff, the fetlock area of the hoof is all that's left of the original AVentity mod, and the hooves themselves are from Eversky Aeon's Pony Store.

my question is how the hell you retextured the kani head... D: i've always wondered that.... yeah i own about 7ish kanis through about 3 accounts (business alts and what not). i'm just wondering how you retextured the kani head because its been deemed almost impossible.

@RogueShadow89 It's totally possibly! :3 I did wind up having to contact Uchi for help at one point, and he gave me the BEST, and most "... Oh, DUH!" advice: apply a grid texture to the prim. The texture I made is pretty garish, but it works. :3

One thing that will help to know: some of the prims have the texture repeating on twice on one plane of them. So you have to knock that down to repeating once, unless you have a texture made for that. (Continued in a second reply...)

@RogueShadow89 (Totally possible, btw. Bad typos.) The eyes were tricky, as they're a little different than other eyes of this time. The eye texture is on a prim of it's own, then the shading for each eye is on a separate prim. So you have to grab each one and drag it out of the way to get to the prim behind the eyes. I just drug them straight up.

It's a little more complicated than the AVentity horse I modded, but it turned out much nicer.
