Actually, I think he sings this song much better than Miley Cyrus. He's got a very nice quality to his voice and seems to bring much more color into the song (especially in the final chorus) that Miley just doesn't seem to do in hers. Good on him. I do think they should have chosen a different song for his debut, though: Mariah's "Anytime You Need a Friend" or "Close My Eyes" would have been perfect.
