@dramaticafantastica - Basically the Tea Party's slogan is "smaller government" and they try to come off as Libertarians.

They want a shit tonne of capitalism (forget about the Welfare State, which nearly every country in the world uses), smaller bureaucracy, and A LOT of intrusion using religious rhetoric when it comes to social issues and personal lives.
