  • You start shaking when the horn blows...

  • bien bruyant!

  • Put your camera on a tripod or a solid object. You are useless at handheld.

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • Only 2 or 3 were actually online. the rest are dead in tow.

  • dag that was quite a lashup but i've seen better ones tho

  • Indeed, I've seen better too by now

  • what's with the constant horn blowing?

  • The crossing.

  • my gawd! The entire fleet's out!

  • I know right?

  • awesome video

  • whats a lashup?

  • Multiple units on 1 train.

  • i've seen better lashups. check out my channel if you dont believe me. i also saw CSX 5500 in lead of an SD50-2 followed by 4 SD40s then the other night i saw a GP40, SD70AC. two C40-8s, an ES44AC, a SD50-2 and something else.

  • Well, It may be better but honestly, it isn't.. The ES40DC leader kills it.. While this lash-up has not 1 new GE locomotive.. The GP40-2 leading lash-up beats this though

  • yeah, but CSX 5500 was the spirit of Cincinnati. and the other locos on the last two lashups i described canceled the 3rd generation GE locos

  • GEVO's are boring in my opinion, spirit or not

  • i agree, but i've wanted to see a "spirit of" engine for awhile. currently, i hate GE because on nearly every train the lashup is an ES44DC in dark future paint and a CW44AC in the snotty nose paint scheme. very rarely will i see all EMD on a train, even rarer an all second-generation EMD consist. though i did catch a killer EMD lashup with a great horn about week ago,

  • I agree. Seeing so many GE's gets boring. They all look pretty much the same. You almost have to read the print on the cab to tell which they are.

  • OH yes couldn't agree more. I will continue to video them because in 20 or 30 years, they will be relic's!

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx Kind of like with CP. that SD40-2's were as common as dirt, though now they are more rare.

  • Yes, you are correct, though the CP Sunbury Subdivision in Eastern Pennsylvania sees a lot of the SD40-2's!

  • i like that gp30 type thing

  • You mean a road slug?

  • yep

  • @xxxDeath9572xxx umm thats not a slug that would be a yard work engine. Slug has no cab just basically a speed regulator.

  • Slug is no cab. Road slug is a seat of brakes, paired with Gp40-2's. Which are mother slugs

  • CSX 2211 is a road slug. Hate to break it to you guys.

  • That it is braggsux.

  • I did't think I'd ever see a GP-30 in CSX colors. I wish I was there with a camera!

  • Im Assuming that you actually were at the scene? But yes i understand your feeling well.. It happens too much these days

  • Hmm... I've counted 8 engines in naboring city West Carrolton, including an ex- Conrail unit that was patched and (not tottaly sure) an SD80MAC! That's right, an SD80MAC, but may have been an SD70M-2.

  • Damn you.. lucky.. lol

  • An SD70M-2 has a pointed nose, a SD80MAc has a flat nose.

  • Whoa, that train barely made it under the bridge. 5/5

  • Hehe, yeah thats why this location is always amusing. Sorry for the late reply

  • No problem ;)

  • If you look as the engines pass there is only three engines running. The first, second and seventh. The rest are probably being delivered back to a major yard for work elsewhere. The fifth or sixth was a switching engine.

  • Ah my mistake then, but then this was most likely a csx q352. yes i do know that as well

  • Wow. Awesome catch. 5*.

  • Thanks Much

  • Here comes the Chicken Shit Express, cough cough, I mean CSX.

  • They arent that bad dude

  • My great grandfather worked for the L&N and When CSX bought them out, the old engineers came up with that. That was granddads favorite moto of CSX

  • Yep,It is.

  • Ha, thanks

  • Sweet catch..!

I'll bet the ground was shaking when that went by.

  • Thanks; and yea your right

  • it happens...no prob

  • 7537 is just a standard cab and not a wide cab...Gotta love those Dash 8's

  • whoops! wonder how that slipped by me

  • nice! one of the best ive seen

  • i bet

  • Great catch!! they probly jus needed a power move so they jus hooked up a few extra locos to the train...lol

oh and i suggessed that u dont stand under a brigde again...lol :D

  • Well its actually a neat spot here. And thats what i said as well. Probably due for the CSX yard in Connelsville or Cumberland

  • This is definitely a better one Ive seen from CSX. Id say the best would an Ex-SCL SD40-2 leading, or something along those lines. Always a killer RS5T to go with it.

  • Same here, and your right and that RS5T would match it perfectly

  • awesome!!! hey is that last unit a gp30, looks like it :)

  • thxs! and i know but its Road Slug

  • oh ok, thats awesome!!! great lashup!

  • The road slug is a product of of the former VMV/IC Paducah shops back in the early 1980s. The slugs were converted from former GM&O GP30s that had their prime movers removed.

  • Yes i know

  • awesome! nice catch :D

  • Thanks

  • Another awsome job. The grade must be pretty steep if they're using 8 engines.

  • actually No 3 Of These Units were Deadheads and the train most likely a Powermove and this crossing is down hill. As Soon as you get through the crossing its another uphill grade to the bridge which is about 1/2 of a mile from the crossing

  • your welcome :D

  • Nice catch Ian. That's quite a bit of locos on the lead. It must be a power-move. 5*

  • Thxs And Yea. It Was a Powermove like you said i would assume

  • I've been as close as can be to the tracks and I've heard the very loud thunder of trains, but not like this!

  • You Arent Kidding its Because it echos under the bridge which makes it sound Louder

  • Here is view number 990!

  • Thxs And Its at 999!!!! OMG!!!!

  • What the heck? Gates under a bridge?

  • Yep

  • HOLY S**T!

  • lol

  • OMG!

  • Get Out!

  • So the horn scared the s**t out of you?

  • not completely but in some ways yes

  • But it said the it scared the shit out of you because of the echo under the bridge?

  • yea it echos for some reason making it sound alot louder than it really is imagine how a Extra loud K5LA would sound under there?

  • It would sound awesome for the NS!

  • i agree with you 100% there only if it was a NS train with those awesome K5LA's on those catfish!

  • NS has the best K5LAs around!

  • Nah Amtrak has even better!

  • Well you can think that but NS is the best!

  • awesome video great job five stars******* thanks for shareing

  • Sometimes I catch NS 33A or 34A with 10 units. There is a lot of yard power that goes between Enola and Allentown. Nice catch and nice power! It was interesting the 7th unit was online.

  • I Can see That i know of that being pretty usual i may not know the Harrisburgh line but just from you & Zach i really learned Quite alot. And Yes that was interesting i believe in this video units 1,3,5,6,&7 like you wer saying nad yes i have actually been 2 Enola Yard once in the past when i was visting Harrisburgh to go to hersey Park

  • Great catch 5*****

  • yes it is interesting to see those Gp30's in Dark Future YN3 Scheme the underpasses really do make the engine sounds and Horn much better to hear Thxs for the 5 & Fav

  • that doesnt compare to this one ferromex train that came by christmas of 2006 it had like 20 or 25 locomotives!! speaking of which i saw that switcher in fostoria!

  • really WOW i would've killed to see that all i see are those dumb Ferromex Autoracks! but interesting did you catch it on film? also interesting that you caught 1192 i have actually caught 1192 4 Times!

  • Dang, that is a lot of power! And some good power at that. I think that is the first time I have ever seen a CSX switcher on anyone's videos or pictures. Way cool. And that is a very interesting spot for the crossing..under the bridge like that.

  • Thxs! I will ahve to agree with you on the power. Hoolg's CSX X609 has a switcher in YN3 Scheme in it check it out its a sweet video. And Yes it is no crossing like it within about 200 Miles!

  • nice catch of the GP15! I saw one of those on the NEC, it used to be in conrail paint with the operation life saver logo

  • Thxs And thats really interesting there i never thought of it being on the NEC in Conrail Paint a an Operation Lifesaver there thxs for sharing that with me

  • Great lashup...that Road Motor's paint job was looking mighty spiffy.

And tripod that bad boy; then you can shake like a leaf all you want and no one will ever know...not that I would know from experience or something...

  • Thxs! and yea im still working around looking for an adjustable Tripods till havent found 1 yet and besides Im eventually going to get a Sony Handicam w/ a Railscanner & maybe then my tripod but im working on my videos to the best that i can without shaking the camera im getting alot better than how i used to be

  • That's probably the most miscellaneous train I've ever seen! lol

  • lol Thxs!

  • Now this is a weird lashup. Liked the GP-30 road slug in the back.

  • thxs it was an interesting Lash-up to see

  • Awesome, massive power lashup!

  • Yea thxs Biggest 1 I've seen since 01 down there

  • SWEET CATCH. I love the variety of engines there.

  • thxs

  • COOL, AWESOME!!!

  • Wow!

  • amazing, just amazing!! great consist and horn man!! 5 stars and a fave for me!!

  • Wow thanks Man! and yea it was a nice catch Thxs for the kind words!

  • welcome Ianator

  • Woah Ian! I have never seen such a crossing setup like that. The gates are actaully under that bridge! One of the best man 5*

  • yea thxs it is a neat setup to see here for the crossing the gate on the other side is just under the bridge its a neat place to go btw thanks for the Complements!

  • Yeah the train horns startles me but I love trains anyway

  • yea so do i im grounded for trains and bike riding until my grades get better but anways no new videos of trains unless i find some old videos lol but yea Trains is my favorite thing to do they're my heart & Soul

  • very nice, love the power!

  • i think that hauling truck load like that is a lot cheaper by train then trucks the way gas prices are today.

  • i dont understand the way you put your worsd but i do understand with you the way its looking gas is going to soar if Gustav & Hanna blast the Golf Of Mexico and the way it looks THEY MIGHT COLLIDE!! they might collide in cuba

  • very good video and nice cahte of the switcher in there to.

  • thxs

  • Ahh nice!

  • thxs

  • dang, that's crazy, the most I've ever seen is 7 engines. I live in South AZ right by two freight lines, we get CSX out here every once in a blue moon.

  • oh thats neat uo have a chance of seeing more units than me though these units most of them were probably tacked on for the Sandpatch grade way down the line

  • What were they hauling that needed that amount of units?

  • idk probably was a just a loaded frieght that would need assitance over the Sandpatch grade farther down the line closer towards Maryland that my guess that it was loaded with things that required so extra assitance thats all

  • Very interesting lash up. Looks like a road slug and an SW1500 along with a Geep with no dynamic breaks. Quite a find you got there.

Keep it up man. Great work!

  • thxs and you too

  • cool railfanning location.

  • thxs

  • very nice, love the horn on that dash 8!

  • yep it is a nice horn caught another 1 of them today on a C 40-8 at the same location

  • Awesome 5 stars!!!!

  • Cool catch with all those engines! 5*****

  • Sweet!

  • looks like a lot of power on that train.

  • yea thats what i thought the train was short but yet a very heavy loaded train that many units amde me wonder if some of them were tacked on for Sandpatch Pa furhter down the line about 110 miles

  • thxs

  • nice!

  • Wow, I don't see an engine there I don't like, this is awesome, amazing catch!

  • Nice catch! That a lot of interesting power on one train.

  • yea it was to me i was still guessing wheter or not it was a power move

  • wow, nice lashup of locomotives!

  • Dang a bunch of units!

  • wow!
