I believe that the larger wheels should always be in contact with the floor. Not the smaller wheels.

buy the nxt 2.0 basic kit. try it out for a while. find an idea that you want to build. buy any additional parts. if you want, try sensors and actuators made by other companies. also, there are some other programming languages.
