The brain is a like computers have-it has little resistance to viral symbols that people have figured out to use to get a response in them. Its how people are, not the way the media is -media just studies and uses the tech.

If people would more aware,better educated they would be immune.

I doubt that these images are retained forever-if so, why is school so hard ... unless things are really Orwellian and schools are designed to make learning and thinking more difficult?
