Nobody says you have to throw the plastic bottles away, brainiac. They can be reused just like the stainless steel bottles. In fact if YOU really cared about the environment you'd reuse a plastic bottle rather than load up the atmosphere with carbon by importing a metal bottle from China. But you're deluding yourself if you think because you're drinking from a metal bottle you're avoiding plastic.

Hello. For all those people who don't want plastic touching their water.

Unless you're sucking your water directly from the ground with your lips against a rock, your water almost certainly travel through a plastic pipe before it reached your bottle.
