The pair of 'em were great together. I'm old enough to remember Wendy in "The Newcomers"-- a good bit before her part in "Dad's Army" & "...Being Served, let alone "Eastenders." And I remember Mike even before he wrote for Art & Artists. He wasn't only a talented singer and actor but also an art critic. As Michael Caine might say, "Not a lot of people know that."

Mike Sarne was a friend of mine in the 60s, a lovely talented lad, also think he gave Hayley Mills her first screen kiss, I love this song,such happy memories x
