i think they both look nice the vw looks more like an actual car and the mini has a nice boot look and is cool!!!!! but the vw looks like a toy for a child and the mini is still too small !! not good for larger people, but mainly would you actually buy them ?? i wouldnt haha

The mini may be more expensive but it is also more fuel efficient, faster, and it handles better.

The engineers at VW should be embarrassed for putting out a car as small as the 2012 Beetle without squeezing out more than low-20mpg. Otherwise they did a good job with the redesign.

The roof on the Mini looks like it was designed for something else and stuck on as an afterthought.

@omcann0991 in holland it's a bit cheaper then a compariseble golf with the same engine. Cheaper then the last one for sure. I think the volkswagen and the mini aren't in the same league, but i lik the mini better haha

Ferri Porsche managed to evolve the beetle without it being a cliche, why can't VW? Mini... Needs to have a longer wheels to pull off proper coupe lines. I wonder when the Burberry pattern roof will appear!

I still prefer the Mini Coupe over the VW Beetle. The VW Beetle is nice looking, and very much more masculine. But the Mini Coupe looks more sporty, and I love the spoiler and shape. The Volkwagen Beetle is nice, the interior is improved, and the shape is very much retro. However, I've never been a huge fan of the Beetle.
