I've looked a long time for an nontraditional version of amazing grace. something instrumental; but in a rock setting, not bagpipes, not a symphony. this is the best i've heard. its exactly what i was searching for.

I don't get why ppl insist on comparing musicians...especially those who glorify God with their lyrics. I mean, it could be William Hung (the American Idol contestant that attempted "She Bangs")...if he's praising God...why do you care how he does it? Christians arguing Christians? @ryanjones5271 Agreed. Music is music. God is good. Talent is last. Our heart towards Him is first. Yes, we must use what He gives, but first we must be willing to give and that's the beauty of guys like Crowder. They're always giving for Him.. Even when they're not the best. He still is.

Compared to Kieth Green I can see your point of view. He's not a gifted as performer(live) as Kieth was, but he has a decent voice and can play while singing at the same time . You really can't compare him to Kieth Green- Kieth was the cornerstone of Christian Music.

I agree. the students at my school have made a praise band. some are good and some aren't. the point is we're not playing to be rockstars, but to praise God. God doesn't care if we make a mistake here or there while playing. We do it for the glory of God! :)
