  • My cat made something similar to this in her litterbox.

  • What kind of gas are they pumping? it has to be really dense if it was able to do that

  • fake ..?

  • Help me Obi-One Kenobi, you're my only hope!

  • or is a green background tv technics ?

  • Wow.... a regular LCD or DLP projector shining on a scrim.

Total waste of time to watch.

  • whoo i want one

  • If use gas or mist, how the laser light shapes are fixed?(air particles are not fixed)

  • @wks1030 shoot a lazer pointer at a piece of paper, move the paper around

why doesnt the lazer move with the page?

  • Its water vapor. Water vapor is blown up in a thin stream, and a image is projected onto it.

  • Yes it is some foggy air or something like that. Ive seen a tv show on it... Really interesting but not that amazing once you actuall know how its done you could probably install something like that at home by now really easily ..

  • It's not really 3d. The images look to be projected on a fog, or mist that is being emitted from the device. The images are computer graphics. It is cool, but not 3d. Maybe experimenting with light wavelengths in a cube or sphere filled with fog or translucent particles would be possible.

  • its just licht refracting of a gas deser than air...

  • COOLm nice video

  • i actually made something similar. but just the display no the touch interface

all you need is some constant stream of STEAM and fire a projector at it ;)

  • @SMITHERSTHEMAGICIAN I think the "touch" part is more like how the x-box kinect works ...

  • Nice :P TMF yeearmix 2001 i can see :D

  • It's not a 3d!

Projection on screen made of condensed air.

  • Ja, I found that soon after I posted the video, little disappointing.

  • Sorry to break it down to you but 3d projection does not exist yet to our knowledge...only those things w/ the mirror...and yeah you can clearly see that the image moves along with the steam or smoke or w/e the machine is blowing...I saw that technology on Discovery Channel I think it was.

  • well what about when they beamed that guy in on cnn?

  • Omg they even explained it are you serious? No seriously you're playing around right? It was a lady and you could tell that it was fake as shit...it was a green screen, 80's technology I believe...if not earlier than that lol.

  • Do you have the vedio that cnn "beamed" the lady? I think it must be very interesting.

  • @devilan82 which is still pretty damn cool!
