@ATLRCFlyer: this post belongs to "YukiLT" and chiptuning. I know how i have to do after using full power and so on. I allways let the motor/ turbo cool down and never shut the motor down immediatelly i stopped. Also i warm up/ drive the motor carefully when its cold.

Als erstes mal kollegen, stammt der Rumpfmotor vom VW T4 2.4D. Fiat! und nicht ALFA stattete diesen Motor zuerst mit einer Commonraileinspritzung sowie anderen Köpfen und Ladern aus. Die ersten 2.4er JTD stammen aus dem Fiat Marea 2.4JTD (136PS) und laufen auch heute noch bei Alfa und Fiat mit register aufladung und bis zu 220PS. Nur die Lader und die Anzahl der Ventile haben sich geändert sowie die etwas neuere Mjet Einspritzung. Jeder V6TDI kann da einpacken.

@falcrum19 mal ne frage bin am überlegen ob ich mir nen 156 2.4jtd (175ps) zulege ... und vllt sogar noch ein chip... verträgt das der motor ohne probleme oder ist es wirklich so schädigend wie man sagt!?

tdi and cdi are the best diesel engines, 1.9 jtd is ok, 2.4 jtd is crap, only rare ones can do over 200.000 km, after that you need to change lets say half of engine

santonije tdi and cdi ist not soo good, see the problem about the c-class, and dont fgorget, alfa 156 are the first car on the world with common rail. Alfa ist the father about the new diesel technologie

It´s possible, that the turbo get earlier ruined if you often use the full power.

@stefan0664 It's not so much about using full power, it's more about what you do after you ran on fullpower. If you pull into a rest area and immediately shut the engine down, then yes, that's ruin the turbo. If you let it run and cool down for about 5 minutes, then you're fine... The Turbo spins over 100.000 rpm when fully loaded. Spooling that down without oilflow and a hot turbine case will eat it up.

Alfa 156 2.4jtd SW, kein Chip, leichtes Gefälle (zwischen München und Ingolstadt)
