No. Here is how you really do it.1. Run head under cool water till it is wet and soft.2. Put a NCAA spec ball in the pocket.3. Take a dull butter-knife and fit it through the hole of mesh you want to be about 3 inches deeper.4. Fit b-knife over the ball.5. Leave over-night to dry,harden, and deepen. This is the easier and more effective way to deepen your pocket.

just thought that i would let you know, anyone who is half decent at stringing sticks can pretty much string a stick so its game ready, i dont know if u did this put when i string my own sticks they come out with nasty pockets and i dont need a nail file or popsicle stick to make one

no just soak the head for 15-30 min and pound it, also unstringing the bottom strings and making them looser help a lot, there is a vid i can give you the link to if you want to see how to restring them

@ChongDong227 it makes the material softer. doing it this way(this video), the mesh will just come back to its original size. I've found if you put shaving cream on it for 15 minutes. then pound the pocket, you get a much nicer pocket that'll hold it's shape.

@hif2345 what i did is i wet the mesh so it was nice n soft use warm/ hot waater i think it works better then take like a 5 pound weight n stick in there for like 10 mins take it out nice poket or just go to lax unlimited or wat ev lax store u have n ask them to make ur pocket deeper

there is absolutely no way to put a good pocket on a reebok 3k. believe me. ive strung them before. the wideness of the head keeps the mesh from bagging out and forming a pocket. plus, even if you were to try this method, the pocket will not stay stretched as much as it is with that ball in it. it goes back to it being shallow. if you want a deep pocket, get a narrower head such as the razer x or clutch x
