I have Skyrim on both ps3 and Xbox 360. The Ps3 version does have better graphics. In fact that is how it is for almost all games on both consoles. It's because ps3 is an entertainment system meant to play blu ray disc. Simple as that but I still like Xbox better.

You're stuck with the low resolution upscaled image that tries very hard to look like 1080p but fails hard. Only redeeming factor of a console is that it's cheap so you can buy it for your kid and not care if he breaks it because you can just buy another one. However, you get what you pay for.

I do choose the superior graphics+performance, free torrented games and custom mods, private servers with low ping, multiple monitor support and the ability to use any input device there is, including a console controller, if I so desire... over a $200 console that was made in 2006 which will RRoD in a year.

@TheExecel You got ripped off badly, I believe. I put my comp together and in parts the approximate cost without the monitor was ~800$ or so. It can run skyrim on ultra with 2048 custom textures just fine. Skyrim doesn't even have high requirements compared to Crysis 2 and BF3.

You install the game once and you don't need cd in cdrom to play so no cd swapping. Besides most of us just torrent single player games so games are totally free, dlc's are free too. No need to protect the game from viruses lol I don't even know what you were trying to say there o.O

PC will always be ahead of console as far as technology but i enjoy playing most games on console a lot more because all my friends play consoles, they are good for the whole family, console games are less of a hassle to play and get into. i don't want to spend hours even days installing, updating, and troubleshooting if there happens to be a problem with your particular hardware/software setup. i have more productive things i could be doing with my time.
