  • brilliant wheels, def one of the best in the world, now we can see why

  • yeah, perhaps...its an amazing process, and these wheels are some of the best prepared in the world.

  • @intrepidjames Fair enough, I stand corrected. When we had the tour (when this video was filmed) we were told the wheels went straight from the machine to the box, perhaps things changed or we were given the wrong information at the time

  • @intrepidjames You're actually wrong one this, hope wheels are laced by hand, then fed through two machines, the first winds the nipples down to give the wheel some tension, the second one does the actual truing, tensioning and de-stressing. There is no further hand work after the final machine.

  • Garbage. How did it calculate the elastic limit of that particular rim? It didn't, which means it's not maximising the compressive strength of the material and getting the strongest wheel possible. Know how to really confuse a computer ? Show it a recaptcha code -absolutely clueless. Did like the stress releaving part though.

  • You could have a lot of fun trying different combos on this baby!

  • Yeah, that's pretty nuts. I still like mine hand built, though.

  • Machine + talking + Background music makes good combination for not watching the vid
