So this is why it all happened: General Shepard probably wanted to get ALL the credit for killing Makorav. So, he sparked a war between Russia and the United States (No Russian) so that all the distraction from the U.S. Rangers (Wolverines!, Exodus, Second Sun, and Whiskey Hotel, ect.) would give him enough time to plan his betreyal. So, finally, he betreyies the entire Task Force 141 besides Soap and Price. Then, the duo avenge the TF141's almost complete death by killing Shepard. Rest in Peace

@Ncistonydude No sorry, Ghost and Roach are dead. They were burned in the pit. Price was only shot and he was dying, but Roach and Ghost are definitely dead. Ghost died from the bullet, he's liveless when he's thrown next to you. Roach was also KIA. They're gone, it's sad, Ghost was so great and even Scarecrow died :(

@09Zufar only roach was burned you never seen ghost get burned. maybe ghost extinguished the flame and rescued roach. also the snipers toad and archer were never seen getting killed so maybe they could have rescued them as well

@derichard10 impossible because before they were burt ghost was shot in the head and they were both cover in oil and the oil was lit so it had to burn both of them. toad and archer were rescued by the other TF141 members
