in yorubaland we have so many orisa, even the "rare" ones, that it is not easy to keep track. some are the most well-known such as obatala, osun, sango, esu, ifa, etc. others are lineage based or only found in certain compounds or areas.
The Ooni honored the orisa community of Trinidad with a visit in the 90`s.He was pleased according to my grandfather(Iba Baye Tonu). He aslo established a Trinidad elder(Baba Ford) as the official head of the Trinidad Orisa tradition.
I am of the trinidad orisa tradition, and in Trinidad we have ,many rare orisas.However,We don`t have Osoosi.Our deities for hunting are Ogun and Erinle.
