i Replaced the housing on my ds lite and it was hard to do ...but i got it all done in about 2 hrs . . . . . your ds looks awesome

@13bakunaga I highly suggest you don't, it is very hard, and something will go wrong.

But... if your DS is broken in the first place, then why not try taking the chance?

Just curious why would you say that? Did break or something? I've heard some things about those SHOCK cases...

@GanjaQueen82 because It broke way too easily and I take really good care of my games, consoles and handhelds.

I remodded it and gave it original ds lite casings, white, blue and black.

See I was gonna get the Shock! case but I heard some pretty bad stuff about it, and for less than the price of that case I got 2 from DX allowing me to mix and match :P

And I had to replace the top screen on mine, since I bought a broken one from eBay to buy. So I had to solder to speakers off the old screen then onto the new screen, then place the border back on the screen and back into the DS. Then I replaced the touch layer which was even more tricky!

Might do another one with this case.

@Tokiopopski Yeah, after personal experience with the casing, don't bother with it, it's not as good as they say it is.

it scratches way too easy and the hinge are is more vulnerable to breaking than the original ds' casing.
