It is weird that these days some use still MS Project as the tool for project management. There are a lot of really valuable software for project managers. Take a look for example at P2ware Planner Professional - all features needed by a professional: Gantt, network diagram, critical chain, cost management, earned value, risk register, daily log, quality register, issue management, schedules, resource load, other techniques like excellent support for product based planning!
