Or if you want to take pictures and put them together to make an MMV i suggest using windows movie maker or sony vegas.

If you want to make a character move click animate & animate face. When you want to change the action click 'state' in the gray box and change it.

@m021394 Do you mean combining layers as in mixing different actions together? Most people do that separately on paint. You get the two actions you want mixed together and combine them on paint. [Sorry, this is some-what confusing to explain, but i hope this helped atleast a little]
