I love the way he just looks at the sales assistant in disgust at 0:13 and says "I beg pardon?". What makes it funnier is that he leaves out the "your".
I'd like to think I won't be offered tickets for a gay... 'party' (:D) in such situation, i.e. you won't be able to tell I was gay straight away. However, I surely wouldn't take it personally even if I was not gay. The cashier was not being disrespectful. After all, this is just a comic sketch and it's comical because ordinary people wouldn't behave the way 'Derek' does.
