i think the coolest thing i have done in this game is sneak up behind a group of pmc's use the human shield to head shot everyone and then slit the last guys throat.

@Atspkpue yea lol KINDA looks like it but if u want to know the name of it its a rear naked choke from the top position useful if u wanna choke some1 out w/o getting seen just drag em behind cover or an object wide enough then perform the rear naked choke p.s u MIGHT have 2 kill him cuz the animation of u getting up is a little annoying if ur going 4 a no alert thing

wow i've had this game for 6 months, beat the story twice and i still haven't mastered  the cqc system i still can't ground choke, and i still can't grab people and throw them forward on their face

I can't do the disarm, no matter what i try. I've been goofing around with an enemy just now and i can't seem to pull it off.

I try releasing R1 just as the grab animation starts and then pressing again; no dice. First grabbing an enemy, letting go then pressing R1 again; no dice. Wtf am i doing wrong?

@Bull1the1Great well the buttons on the PS3 controller are pressure sensitive so you can either hold the enemy by lightly holding R1 or choke them by pressing hard.

i dont like the throw down anymore. In MGS3 the throw down had a sense of power. There was a huge puff of dirt from the ground and the screen shook a bit, that part just made me feel strong you know

The only real i reason i got the 360 is i have fairly large hands

and the ps3 controller feels really uncomfortable in my hands because its so small

@xraidedlok MGS 4 is such a dissapointment. After act 1-2 what little gameplay is left is completly overshadowed with the lenghty cutscenes.

MGS1, and 3 were the best MGS games, they had the perfect mix of gameplay (most important) and story.
