It's called Advance Wars Dark Conflict in the Euro release because the translation was done indepently (Europe only) unlike together in most games (Euro & US). It is also one of the few games out in Europe that they spelt the word "colour" not "color". Check out Wikipedia for more details.

@meamumbler12 instead of a translated version being sent to both Nintendo of Europe and America (or to one, which was translated and passed on to the other), the japanese versions were sent to both Nintendos so they had to be translated seperately

why did the tank attack the jeep and the other tank with a machine gun? isn't it supposed to be the cannon?

That tank has started off with 0 Ammo left (you might not notice that since I skipped the text a lot)
