Thank you, man, amazing tutorial. i just started solidworks, and it's very helpful to watch these kind of tutorials when you are totally new to this program. Respect!
nice tutorial. is there a way to stop camera tilting sideways when you rotate it around the center? like in Maya or most other programs. the bottom (ground) plane should always be horizontal :S
@ssuuppeerrbbooyy There is not, and for good reason: when working on the bottom of an object, you want to be able to rotate the view normally (in Rhino or Maya, rotation is reversed when the model is upside-down).
hey friend you have done a nice job by posting these videos.......these are really helpful......thanks a lot for your efforts....keep on uploading such things ............thankuuuuuuuuu
@pan610 Do you mean you want to rotate a plane around the center of a cylinder? If so, create an Axis at the cylinder center, then create a plane using the Axis and another plane as reference.
Great Tutorial wish there were more

hey cadjunkie :P
I have made a solid piece. but I need 4 of those same objects. can I duplicate them? or do I need to make all 4 of them again?
CoasterLab 5 months ago
@CoasterLab 'Insert > Features > Move/Copy' is one option. You can also use linear, circular, and curve driven patterns to duplicate solid bodies.
