  • @matacksthedude I just got the mcpx, the tiny version of this and even though it doesn't have quite as much power, its awesome. I've crashed it inverted straight into the ground and it flies again with no damage. In fact, I have only just broke the first set of blades for it after about 50 crashes. Its definitely a way better heli for beginners.

  • Dirty jobs!!! cool, say is that a g90 heading lock gyro?

  • @Helicopterpilot16 Its the eflight heading hold gyro and its buggy as heck. I don't like it and have since upgraded to a t-rex and a g90.

  • haha dirty jobs in the background :P

    like the different camera angles!

  • Lol @ the cat

  • lmafo. i bought a cp pro and crashed it and totalled it the 4th time i flew it. It tilted sideways and i gassed it not thinking and it flew into a tree goin full speed... there goes 200 bucks.

  • looks much more powerful than mine. But I can't get anything pro yet, I'm still crashing alot. Trying to learn how to control it

  • that cat would have been shreeded if id went in front of the blades, never fly with an animal in the room!!!

  • I'd recommend starting out on one of the CX series, then an MSR before trying the CP.

You can go straight to CP but it won't be nearly as fun.

  • or as expensive

  • I don't recommend the CX series, you'll quickly out grow the heli leaving you wanting more, especially is you run into someone who has a normal heli.

  • after getting an msr the other day, i'd agree. the mcx just sits there. i still can't get the damn cp off the ground without a fantastic crash....

  • what are those orange balls

  • They are to learn how to hover without tipping over the heli.

  • if you dont know how to fly, never buy a 3D heli because your making it hard on yourself>>>> its like learning to walk, you gotta crawl before you walk, you gotta walk before you run...your like a baby trying to run...next time start with an easy heli such as the CX2 or MCX or a begginnger heli like that

  • Oh, its better to buy a simulator than a cx2 or anything else like it. I think I had a lot of luck with this one and I mastered flying it in about a month. I've since had a Raptor 50 and a t-rex 450se, both which I've had a lot of fun with. = )

  • @saltedguy depends on which sim :P and its always good (and fun) to get real heli practice becasu no matter how close sims are to real life you just dont get all tat extra fun and reality you get of a real heli.

  • fly it higher up, ground effect is making it really hard for you

  • the cat's like"see ya dudes!"

  • how much do these go for? btw that was quite the performance

  • $366 with all the upgrades.

  • not tooo bad, well i mean if it was ur hobby, i wouldnt pick one up to fky around the backyard for an hour and crash it into a tree. maybe someday

  • great skilllz man!

  • good vid! you should of got the cat! im pretty sure you nailed him a few times, come on be honest! lol...

  • I just bought mine and that is how high it goes out of the box... with full throttle... Do I adjust one of the knobs to put more power in it? help me out. thanks.

  • The problem can be the battery, blade pitch or the motor. Might wanna get them checked out.

  • Does not fly well at high altitude (5000ft)... After a few minutes of normal flight, it can only barely manage a hover out of ground effect. Need brushless upgrade, but better to just upgrade to a bigger chopper.

  • I found out two days after I bought it that the pitch set on the heli was wrong. It flies fine now I do not need a brushless upgrade. I do however find that a heading lock gyro might come in handy. The highest altitude here is maybe 1000 feet.

  • ok, thanks

  • Does anybody know what flight time you will get with the lipo upgrade, Thanks

  • probably not more than 10 minutes. I have usually ended my flights at 8 minutes just to be safe.

  • When u taped this video im sure you didnt have a week flying it. After 1 week of flying im sure you will be able to hover calmly :)

  • Lose the balls -- much easier to control. How many different camera angles did you have going there? ;-)

  • Ahh . . . I remember the days of learning to fly with the balls.

    BTW, Dirty Jobs rocks!

  • i got 1 of those i made my own training balls for it though.... just got it yesterday 1st heli...

  • its funny i think every rc heli owner has a cat im sure of it!

  • lol i have a blade cx2 (no cat) =O

  • had a Blade CX, sold it, now have a Blade CP Pro, no cat! however, the neighbors do have a cat.

  • Is it an outdoor cat? :D

  • yes... I hate it when it is outside at night meowing... along with that, i cant see it at night either..

  • I dun have a cat but i do have fish. : )

  • thts exactly like how i hover it. had it for 3 days now.

  • Have you upgraded to the double tail motor??? Want to know how it's working out for ya if so. My blade does the same but I'm running on brushed motors, I have two blade CP pros and both do the same, other than that, I love flying them ( I'm still in hover stage) and Can't get tired of seeing them hover.

  • thats a really fat cat =P

  • oh no wonder I thought you were using brushed, well if you are using a brushless motor it is normal.. YOu should go for dual tail motor upgrade..IT makes it better and holds better..you deffinitely need it when you are brushless!!!

  • SALTEDGUY..I think you need to replace your Tail motor as soon as u can, coz that means the brush is getting lower. So Replace it as early as you can and see the difference...

  • I've tried that. It's not that it fails when its running normal. But if I turn up the motor to full speed rapidly the tail can't keep up for about a half second and the heli spins 180 degrees. It might be cause I have a brushless motor. I'm not sure. But I have tried new motors in the past.

  • gyro hasn't caught up yet...

  • is the blade cp pro hard to fly?

  • No, its pretty easy to do the basics. The only thing I don't like is the tail motor. When you pick the heli up fast it the tail motor doesn't have the power keep the heli on the right heading, so it spins and then corrects. Third party sells a dual tail motor part that fixes that problem. Its my first heli and its pretty great.

  • m8 all small electric helis spin wen u put loads of power on rele fast. just slowly put the power on. you would b suprised how little power is needed

  • good advice

  • yes

  • stupid cat
