@FreshAki : danke! Dein 3.0si ist auf 200 mit ca 4 sek langsamer angegeben. müsste man vielleicht bei gleichen bedingungén testen.

@fourstripes767 auf werksangaben leg ich nicht viel wert, da jeder sein auto unter anderen bedingungen testet. wäre aber ein sehr interessantes duell...

The new SLK350 R172 has 306 hp as well, but a different engine. For me on a test drive it seemed to be a bit slower than the one in my SLK350 R171 'Sportmotor'... Both are top speed limited to 250 km/h. This brings an indicated reading of 261 as shown in the video and is then regulated down to indicated 256 km/h....

how many hp does this car have ? i want to buy the new slk 350 with 306 hp..is your car faster ? because Mercedes told me that it's top speed is 250 km/h with electronic restriction.

@wtcvictim: Yes, it's a stock 2009 SLK350 - R171- with a 3.5L V6 and 305HP! No modification on engine or exhaust.....straight and level road, 7G Tronic in S mode...

@fourstripes767 thanks for the info. I have one exactly like yours and haven't managed to get from 0 to 200 in less than 20 seconds thats why I was asking for mods. From the video it looks like 18/19s. I'll post my video later.

@wtcvictim: that is what I was wondering myself.... so, maybe the street has a light downslope which was not visible, or its the premium fuel at 102 octane ;-)

@fourstripes767 the fuel could be an aswer since I've seen a slight increase using carrera 100. What kind of petrol are you using with 102 octane ?

@wtcvictim it is Aral Ultimate 102, or Shell V Power Racing 100.... available here in GER at every station of these two brands
