  • I work for a company that makes belts and we appreciate you recommending belt dressing. It is the worst thing you can put on a belt drive. One way to test this is to spray it on your hand and go out in the parking lot and dab it on the parking surface to see what comes up. This is the same rock, grit and sand that stick to the pulleys and act as sand paper wearing out BOTH your belt and pulley together. If you have to spray something on it to make it grip or slip you need to inspect the pulleys

  • where can u get this dressing? can you use olive oil instead?

  • ratspider2000 is totally right :P hes pretty much saying IM SMARTER THEN YOU SO LISTEN TO ME....

  • I hate the way this guy talks its so irritating.

  • @ratspider2000 yes but he talks loud and clear so you can understand what he says, thats why he does it too.

  • no it wont, if your belt is heavy damaged it's better to replace it, dressing is used for cleaning the belt, so the dust and other dirt wont damage it. sorry for my bad english, i'm from croatia.

  • so if you have a weak drive belt, adding that dressing will delay it breaking?
