Apparently wild lions cannot differentiate between people in or on a car - they see the motor vehicle and occupants as one big 'animal' - and they leave you all alone.
If you get out of the car and stand alone ... thing they may get interested :)
Never expected to see some dominate lioness have some for of "compassion" towards some outsider's cub and spared it from being torn apart A higher sense of self perhaps?

the vehicle doesnt even look protected.
i wish all 22 lions had turned on the intruding vehicle!
