I own The Official Dukes Of Hazzard Fan Club, I dont have such a great quality copy of this old commercial. Would you be willing to trade? I'd like a copy minus your logo. Lemme know.
I was 12 years old in 1981 & a BIG fan of The Dukes of Hazzard. I remember that commercial. Damn, but I wanted that toy. My family was dirt poor and we couldnt afford store bought toys advertised on tv like that one. My toy collection pretty much consisted of mis-matched odds and ends, bits and pieces, that were handed down to me by friends, or found in the streets somewhere, etc. Toy commercials like that one (and being a big watcher of tv, I saw thousands of them), only served to torture me.

As the old cartoon version's theme goes:
"Just give 'em a race to run-
General Lee, and son-of-a-gun!
Oooh, hoo-wee, we're gonna have some fun!
Oooh, hoo-wee, we're gonna have some fun!"
Boss Hogg: "OHHHH, THEM DUKES!!!"
