30FPS is more than enough to decently play a game.

This is something that the major public could agree to. But somehow gamers are complaining about it for no reason.

It's not that the games will become worse, it's just that they will have 30FPS instead of 60FPS. Which most games already have.

If you won't buy the games because of the FPS change, then that's just your loss. And personally I think you're stupid for nut buying a game because of that.

Sure, I've played plenty of games with 30 frames per second. However, there is a definite quality dip that is noticeable. Compare for yourself though, find a game that funs 60 frames and then compare it to one that runs 30 frames and then come back to me. I'm quite sure you will perceive a difference

The human eye doesnt really opporate with "frames" or a "refresh rate" so its hard to compare.

Early film makers just used between 24 and 30 frames per second because it seemed to provide smooth motion.

That's a little arrogant to say that because frame rate does absolutely nothing for the player. If the frame rate is a stable 30, 40 or even 50 frames you wouldn't even notice it unless someone pointed it out. You can say you would, but you wouldn't. You only notice a dip in frame rate in those cases if the frame rate isn't perfectly stable because you register jitteriness in your head. Unfortunately, Insomniac will get flak for this, but they'd get flak if thye didn't admit it too.

I disagree RoganSarine. There is a noticeable between 30 and 60fps even with stable frame rates. However the difference vary from person to person but also from game to game. In fast paced games (Street Fighter IV, Quake 4 PC) high frame rate will allow your brain to pick up more data and react faster which is of great importance at high difficulty and competitive gaming. Back in the 90's some would argue they didn't see any difference between 15 and 30fps. Today 15fps is unacceptable to most ;)
