RIP Pastor Fred :/ i miss you soooooooooooo much. i really wish you were still here. i really could use some inspiration. you were really good at that. :,(
Hey Dailey and Vincent got a favor to ask , do u all have your songs available on tableture ? Or the chords to your songs , like in a book or online ??? Please!! Am learning to play mandolin, need chords for that.
I had heard Jimmy forture sing this, He wrote it.I really did not think anyone could do as good. But hearing these boys sing it. How wonderful it s so beautiful and they do a great job.
I found this song on Youtube by accident (there are no accidents) and I ordered the soundtrack to learn it. When I got it I felt rushed to learn the song. Now I know why...my 95 1/2 year old grandmother died and today I sang it for her funeral. It was so fitting. I think this helped give the family some peace knowing we'll see each other again "On the Other Side"...
I've lost many people in my life,.. too many,.. but,.. A friend of mine posted this on his skype,.. He just lost his mother this last month,.. And it put me into tears,.. It's beautiful,..
This October I lost my only brother...he was 32. He left behind his beautiful wife and three children. It'd been almost a year since I'd seen him. He'd suffered from bi-polar and this song explains the peace I feel he now has. I've seen his face smiling and heard his life laugh many times since his passing. This song captures the essence of my experience. Beautiful. (Your so loved Brother...endlessly)
I lost both of my grandmas this year and this christmas it is going to be so hard. I loved them both dearly and nothing seems the same anymore. But I know that they are both in heaven looking down on us. I miss you GRANDMA FREEMAN AND GRANDMA WILLIAMS. I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN WHEN I GET TO HEAVEN. I LOVE YOU BOTH.
God gives us Heaven as our new home and Jesus gave his life so we can be forgiven. Please accept Jesus into your heart and live for and love God and let satan be defeated.
i just lost my mamaw a week from tommorow. she was the best mamaw anyone in the world culd have. she was loved by many people and will be missed by even more. This song was played by a group of people at her funereal they could have not picked a better song then this:) ILOVE YOU MAMAW. R.I.P HELEN SAYLOR. You will never be FORGOTTEN:)
I lost my mom when I was 3 yrs old, I'm 50 now, I have missed her terribly, as she was the one whom brought me into this world. I know we'll be together one day. To my ever light, my guardian angel, my everything... mom I love you more than life itself!
I also saw these guys on Gac Positive country. I lost my husband to brain cancer in june of this year and this song is a big comfort to me. Thank you for helping get through this> I miss you so much Jimmy but i know your ok now and we will be together again someday! I love you!
I saw these guys for the first time this morning on GAC Positive Country. I found this on youtube. I have played it 20 times in a row. I lost my mother Thanksgiving Morning. This is great song Thanks for it. It means so much.
I was at their concert in Gstaad, Switzerland last weekend. They played as a rather unknown group before the big star Trace Atkins was on stage. They sure kicked his butt.
We have enjoyed your music since we heard you all at the helping hands concert and you have always been our favorites. We just saw you at the fund raiser for the Johnny Cash home place in Dyess not only did you blow everyone away you were the my favorite act you guy have such great hearts Christians always shine and your charity shows not only your love for others but you also share your BEAUTIFUL music with others This song always gives me goosebumps and tears thank you for your music!!!
WOW! I lost my Mom and Sister within a couple of years of each other.
This song hits home, especially the line that says," I could see you smiling, you were looking right at and for the first time in a long time on your face I saw some peace."
So much pain and anger, I am so happy that is all gone.
This song gives me goose bumps. Can't wait to see it and all the people I know are already there walking with the Lord, seeing things we can only imagine. What an amazingly beautiful place it must be, and it was made with us in mind.
Sometimes when grieving the best thing to do is cry instead of try to hold it all in. This song is a powerful in its lyrics to add a little healing to those who have lost someone. Jimmy Fortune(Statler Bros) is such a great song writer. I love the lyrics, "in a first time in a long time on his face, I saw some peace."
This song has brought me so much peace...in the past 5 years I have lost my Daddy, Mommy, & 2 brothers but the most painful loss was when my son was called home on 01/01/08 I miss him so much but when I listen to this song I cry but it also realize that he is happy & smiling this brings me a sense of peace, Thank you & God bless. Nancy
This has to be one of the most beautiful songs ever. I believe this would help anyone who has lost some to find some peace and strength. Amazing job guys.
I just lost my maw maw on 3/17/11 on Saint Patricks Day. I love her so much, Today was her funeral and they played this song there.she was the most amazing woman ever we did a lot together.she had pancreatic cancer shes been dealing with.we found out in December 2010 she had and that it was already at stage 4 and they couldnt do anything about it but she looked at that doctor and said
"Thats okay"and smiled.she was so eager to go even though were by far not.i miss her so very much.R.I.P.<3
I lost my mom 3 years ago at the age of 89. She was my very best friend. Grew up during the Great Depression..Had to beg for food and clothes. Came from a poor Irish family. She
is my heart forever. I miss her so very much - I wish my daughter's understood just how much, my husband knows. The hardest thing, was to lose her. Knowing that I will see her again has made accepting it, easier. See you soon, mom!
Lost my wife on 3/10. We were friends since the second grade I even asked my Mom if I could marry her back then. I got so lucky when she said yes and we were married 35 years. She was 58 and my soul mate for 50 years. Our bed is so empty to sleep in. I crowd her pillows around me and try to sleep. How I will ever get past this pain is beyond my comprehension, but I keep hearing I will...they don't no the depth of our love. Thanks for the song.
I just lost my Grandfather and i'm only 12 and he played a great role in my life he was my buddie and when i first heard the song i learnedit by heart and went up to his grave and sang it and 2 nights ago i was sitting in my bed and my lights flickered and my mom said he was talking to me :) 1-26-11 Paw-Paw I Miss You
@Guppy101Lover I lost my son 4yrs ago...and I can tell you, that was your paw-paw saying hello...there is a great little book that is very easy to read..I would recommend getting it! "Hello from Heaven"...it tells you other ppls experiences of how our loved ones communicate with us...Connie
I just lost my wonderful husband 3 months ago, and one of my very good friends directed me to this song. I will play it next summer at his life celebration at the lake, his favorite place to be. Thank you for writing and singing this lovely song for the hope we have in Glory.
love this some! They played it at my ex boyfriends an his step dads funeral. it was a very sad an trajic moment. i hate it that they are gone but more importantly i hate not having him in my life anymore),=

Your family's love for him ever enduring. The Father's love for all forever unending. You shall all be re-united for eternity. Your separation is but temporal.

@iwillrocknroll4eva you're so right! I hated bluegrass til Dailey and Vincent came out. I never gave it a chance. I've been a fan ever since 07 and I can't get enough of them! God Bless D and V!
This is one of THE MOST BEAUTIFUL songs I've ever heard!!! Perfect bluegrass harmonies with orchestral back-up. Could listen to over and over and over. :))
I lost my husband Bobby Gene, who could play a mandolin like you wouldn't believe, April, 11, 2009. Listening to the words, and that mandolin in there...... surely does give comfort. You have no idea.
Jamie and Darrin are so talented. They are great musicians, but even greater Christian men. God bless the Dailey and Vincent families. Bluegrass is so pure and beautiful, and you can only thank God for such a blessing, especially Jamie and Darrin and their execution of such a lovely song.
It was my pleasure to meet Vincent at the IBMA 2010 gathering. I wrote a GREAT song for the group the very next day called "GOD To Love It" I hope they cut it, since they inspired my lastest song. It's a clearly a gift from God. I hope the group loves it and records it on their next album. :))
I beleive in god and the jesus christ and i wanna go to heaven and get a glimpse of heavens in my dream tonight man this song is amazing and this band is awsome
We played this song for my sister just prior to her passing. Her response was so amazing. Her breathing increased and by the expression on her face and the tears running down her face, we could see that she was ready to be "On the Other Side"! She left us two days ago to go to 'The Other Side' so we have decided to play this at her memorial service. For Angie - FB page: PRAYING FOR ANGIE. Thanks for such a wonderful song.
I have requested (in advance of course) that this song be sung at my funeral. The words are so comforting and I want my children and grandchildren to know that they will see me again on the other side.
All of the comments on this video that I've read are sad. I never made it to page two. Everyone has lost someone dear to them. My deepest sympathies to you all. It's a beautiful song.
My daughter Andrea went to be with the Lord just 2 days shy of her 21st birthday. I wonder every day if she can see me crying. I sure do miss her, but I know I will see her again when the Lord calls me home.
lost my momma on Jan 15th of this year. Sure do miss my best friend. Thank the LOrd there is another side and i know that i know that i know i will see her again one day!
My Dad died 3 months ago yesterday, this is the first time I listened to this song. I wish I could see my Dad right now. I've always enoyed Jamie and Darrin and got to meet them 2 years ago in Mississippi.
I so know how you feel. I miss my dad too. God bless you and I hope this song brings comfort to you like it has for me. God bless you today. Prayers. Deb
My aunt died recently. At her funeral, my cousins had a video put together, with this song on it. It is one of the most beautiful touching songs I have ever heard. I have e-mailed it to dozens of people. I am also a musician, and I have adapted it into my repoitoire of songs that I sing for people. Thanks a lot!!! from loky
I heard this song like a month ago... and i learned it... and im 15:] and when ever we have a pickin(where we play music) i sing it and everyone tears up. i love you guys Dailey and Vincent
To Roger459 below: C'mon Roger, are you serious. You're going to take a beautiful song of hope and comfort and accuse the writer of leading people astray. How do you know the writers heart and what he was meaning to say?!?!? The Bible also says in Matthew 7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged." How do you know that the writer is not referring to God when he talks about the Sun? Don't ruin something this good by judging it like this!
You know when you lose someone these are the songs that heal and help. I lost my husaband Bill at age 38, 1/16/09. I left for work a wife and mother and came back 4 hrs. later a widow- tell those you love how much you love them.... I miss Bill so much and so does our two kids- anna-8 and Joshie-2..... Thank-you for this song and god bless Brenda.
Thank-you.. I find myself needing more and more prayer and i extend that back to you- My husband was all about giving back to others- no one was a stranger- he was one of the good ones..God bless all...Brenda
@brenrut i am so sorry for your lose, we played this song at my dads funeral he died last thursday this song helps me know he is in a better place now walking with jesus, my dad was a great man im gonna miss him
i have not lost a husband or anything but i do know how you feel, i lost a very good friend an i talked to him 2 days before that. we lost him an his step dad 2 day after thanksgiving, i hated it. the night i went to there viewing i thought i would be okay. turns out i wasnt thought i was out of tears but i never was once i saw him i told myself that i never wanted to let go an they told me i never have to just say i'll see you later love you. i kno they miss us an luv us! Jaime
I don't remember hearing this song before, you might have done it at Blistered fingers. But I can't remember. Then last night Hallee (comment below mine) sent me some of the lyrics, cause it fit exactly what we were thinking. Thanks for this song, it is amazing and such a comfort. Craig was an awesome guy, and now he's having an even better time in this beautiful place :')
this song always meant so much to me, but even more since i lost my 16 year old cousin five days before Christmas.... <3 u craig. God bless you guys, so much. <3
(Rev 21:23) And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they might shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
THIS SONG LIES...!
(Isaiah 8:20) To the Law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because no light is in them.
Are you saying that of all the gospel songs written that they are judged by the Word. I beleive you are sincerely mistaken.Once again.Put down the stones you throw at well-meaning people who are trying to encourage and bless others by singing songs about heaven, anf Godly things which in many cases are inspired by the Holy Spirit. There are lots of sinful things on YouTube you can judge go there.
awesome song, this song touched my spirit and blessed me in way you 2 will ever know. maybe i will get to tell ya the story one day, beautiful lyrics and playin. GOD BLESS U
This awesome. This is the most beautiful song I have heard in a long time, Well done! It sends shivers up and down my spine everytime I listen to it. I saw you in Grass Valley, CA in June. Your harmonies amaze me and I like your selection of songs. Keep up the good work.
This is beautiful, we saw you in Tottenham, Ontario, Canada and have not been so excited about a Bg. band in a long time. That night was even better when my husband and I popped into the local Tim Hortons and you all came in,,,,Joe Dean my husband is trying out the banjo picks you recomended.....Can't wait to see you all again!!!
A fabulous quartet would be D&V teaming up with Grandstaff to do an album of the Statler hits. I believe the public would love it. I know I would. They could call themselves D&V and the 2nd generation of the Statlers, Grandstaff. Or Grandstaff the 2nd generation of Statlers and D&V. Just an Idea!
D&V are the best out there right now. Just saw them for the 2nd time at the MACC festival in Columbus, OH and was BLOWN AWAY. Keep up the good work and God Bless.
These guys are to bluegrass what the Eagles are to Rock and Roll! They are flat out, a lesson in harmony and song structure in every piece they do.

My daughter Andrea went to be with the Lord just 2 days shy of her 21st birthday. I wonder every day if she can see me crying. I sure do miss her, but I know I will see her again when the Lord calls me home.

My aunt died recently. At her funeral, my cousins had a video put together, with this song on it. It is one of the most beautiful touching songs I have ever heard. I have e-mailed it to dozens of people. I am also a musician, and I have adapted it into my repoitoire of songs that I sing for people. Thanks a lot!!! from loky

Why does anyone even respond to ROGER459, he's the unwavering "Jesus freak" who sees nothing more than his own shallow interpretation of religion.

Every SONG is a Sermon...!

(John 15:21-21) But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.
(John 15:22) If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.

Mr Pharisee,
He wasn't talking about a couple guys singing about Heaven. You are messed up leave these guys alone.

Other side of What...?
The BIBLE says Nothing about Blue SKY!
The Real Christian NEVER trusts in Dreams but in the Word of God...!
(Isaiah 8:20) To the Law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because no light is in them.
