You should set up a collection system with an igniter in it so that you can try to ignite the raw hydrogen. If all the oxygen is truely separated out, the hydrogen should not ignite. Yu would then be the first person to prove that compressing hydrogen for fuel would be no greater risk than propane. I would like to see what the results would be, I want to make hydrogen as a dump load for my solar panels and compress it with my biogas system. Very nice work though.
Why do all these fucking idiots keep posting the SAME videos of the same shit - this is not electrolysis of hydrogen AND oxygen, it's electrolysis of a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen.....
It's the MOST fucking dangerous thing you can produce....
You can't store it or "unmix it" - 99/100 of all the "hydrogen generators" are just bullshit gas fizzers by chemistry numbskulls.
I have a problem with the stainless steel electrodes - their surface areas are very limited and the rate of gas production will suffer. Replacing the SS with carbon electrodes, which are porous, might give a better result. I would also have liked to see some temperature control in your electrolysis cell.
This is valubale for making an unlimited uderwater usage without oxygen tank for divers. It is very ingenius, and even my fellow graduate classmates are struggling with this factors, THANK YOU
cute. but did you ever consider the possibility of the hydrogen line being clogged, or stopped by any means? this device could never be placed under pressure of any sort. and IF, there is ANY Negitive pressure on the hydrogen line, the same BAD juju. any idea's on how to combat this problem?
One day Im going to make a Large apparatus and run the hydrogen hose out my house and let the oxygen just fill in my house and have increased levels of oxygen so youll feel great in my house.
This HHO did not work on my fuel injected type of car.But it did worked excellent on carbureted models.I wish the Big 3 manufacture again the old old carbureted models.
..could you kindly show or explain to us how the cathode and anode plates are arranged. Is there a membrane or perhaps porous diaphram that separates the plates ?
Is there a flow of water between the anode and the cathode? In the video, it doesn't appear so, but there would have to be. You can't just generate oxygen alone from water. The HH and the O are byproducts of the same reaction. Could you explain?
Thanks! This is the first video I've seen where someone produces hydrogen, and then ignites it!!
The electrodes are made of quality stainless steel.
As the water is broken down into hydrogen and oxygen only the water disappears. The sodium hydroxide that I add to increase the conductivity of the water is not affected at all by the electrolytic process. It does not change. The only thing you need to do from time to time is refill the apparatus by removing one of the plugs on top and refilling it with pure distilled water.
I have used this for increasing gas milage. Got amazing results.
Do you use only the H2 when using as a gasoline supplement, and are you going into intake manifold through vacuum line or air cleaner? And does this ever cause the check engine light to come on?
I fed both the oxygen and hydrogen into the air cleaner, although I have read that the intake manifold is the best. (I will try this in the near future)
The primary purpose of separating the hydrogen and oxygen is for safety. In the event of flashback, or accidental ignition, an explosion virtually impossible with pure hydrogen gas.
Another purpose of separating the hydrogen and oxygen is to avoid the introduction of excess oxygen into the engine. Some argue that this adversely affects mileage on some vehicles. In that case, just feed the hydrogen line into the air intake, and leave the oxygen line to vent into the atmosphere.
I wouldn't hook up the oxygen hose to a breathing apparatus without feeding it through a good filtering device. I would be concerned about microscopic lye saturated droplets coming from the apparatus.
The lye in the water remains unchanged. 99.9999% of the lye would remain in the water, keeping in mind, again, that there may be very minute amounts of lye escaping in water vapor.
As the water turns into hydrogen and oxygen the lye is not chemically altered.

I wouldn't exactly call it MASS production!

can you use a 12v dc transformer plugged into mains for power source instead of battery

Too much oxygen is bad too. Then again, if you have enough people, it could be fine.

This worked fine on my fuel injected minivan. Increased fuel efficiency by 30%

It's NOT HHO!!!!!!
It's clearly Hydrogen and Oxygen... Learn something.

Great! Can you also appologize for spreading the ignorance and idiocy about HHO? IT'S JUST H2 and O2 in every case!!!
Philldapill85 2 years ago
HHO goes KKKKAAAAABBBOOOOOOM
while H2 and O2 will go BOOM

Could you kindly tell us the material you used for the anode and cathode? Is there any electrolyte being added to the water?
HHOhybridBuilder 3 years ago
The anode and cathode are both stainless steel. And yes, there is an electrolyte used in the water - Lye

@csumm101
Stainless steel will degrade overtime! Use platinum :)

You are correct. The oxygen comes from the same reaction as the hydrogen.
csumm101 3 years ago
So in your video, was the water able to flow between the two sides?
jeng020 3 years ago
Yes, the water is able to flow between the two sides.

Are your electrodes platinum or stainless steel?
How do you recharge the system with electrolyte solution? Are you planning to use this for any particular purpose other than demonstration?
Thanks

excuse my ignorance, but if you fed both lines
oxygen and hydrogen into the air cleaner.
What is the reason you are separating oxygen and hydrogen on your generator?

are you going to tell us how? Pleeeeezzzz

The positive terminal produces oxygen, and the negative terminal produces hydrogen. I spent over 20 years perfecting the process of separation.
csumm101 3 years ago
How do you do that? separate O2 of H2
you can send me a driagram or picture
