Thx for the reply bro, I remember seeing all 4 games back in the day, but the last reg season game in Orlando was imo the best one because it was a close exciting game. MJ I remember started out 3/4 fg and finished 10/30 fg I think. Shaq just arrived at the arena in the 2nd quarter, think he dunked on Rodman nasty in that one
I looked thru my games, and haven't been able to find it. I believe my oldest brotha has it. He seems to always get games from me w/o telling me LOL!!
All I could find were the highlights from the game.
There's 1 play were MJ took Donald Royal off the dribble & elevated SO HIGH for a layup that the Magic were forced to foul him for the And-1 to try & stop him..
@blackadam06 sweeet, I'll be waiting for you to post that game bro, let me know if u have the Bulls/Cavs game in Cleveland, it was there last meeting between them in the 96 season....
I loved watching DA BULLS play the MAGIC in 1995-96. Too bad Shaq wasn't playing in this game though. Loved watching MJ & PIP take on Shaq & Penny, and especially loved those black uniforms DA BULLS wore. Those are the best uniforms ever, very stylish. The MAGIC had some pretty sweet black uniforms back then to. I don't think they ever wore them when they played DA BULLS on the road in 95-96 though. Would've loved to have seen that.
Good post. Penny could've been awesome. He broke down mentally after Shaq left. I remember that this game was very early in the season and people were saying after this game that Penny was better than Michael, lol.
he didn't break down mentally, but he was hurt. he felt shaq betrayed him because he signed with the lakers without telling him. penny was the only rival of jordan that had the same skills as him when he was healthy.
hey what about the other 2 games between the bulls and magic that same season, i remember the one in chicago when MJ dunked on Grant, that was a 111-91 win, but the one in orlando to me was the best one out of the 4 meetings
that was a record year for Dennis Scott on treys, my opinion i think if Penny wouldnt have got hurt he could have been one of the greatest point guards of alltime. i remember back in 95-96 when Shaq was hurt, he was over 28 ppg behind MJ. even though the bulls had the best record in the league, for a while the they were tied with the magic for the best home record. thats around the time those dennis rodman tshirts came with his face in the back, man i miss the 80's and 90's
Yeah it really was the golden era, lots of good players playing together for one team as a team, not just one good player on a team soaking up all the salary cap
Pretty much you are right. At that time two players by the names of Penny hardaway and Grant Hill were to take the NBA to a whole new level. However it is unfortunate what injuries can do to great players, and those two without a doubt were just that.
i remember that game, Penny kinda won that matchup with MJ, and if i know MJ he was waiting for him when they came to Chicago because MJ score 36 against Penny's 26 with a Chicago win. after that loss in orlando, i dont think the bulls lost to the magic ever again until after MJ retired again
Great vid as always...I´ve got another Magic-Bulls game in an old tape...wiyth penny and shack...I have to learn to edit it..THANKS a lot for your work..and yes, MJ IS THE GOAT..the more NBA I see, the more I miss mike....greetings from spain
i remember this game. it was a bummer to see the bulls lost. but i was amazed and thought that penny was gonna be a real threat to mj. penny was really good and the way he played was much more efficient than this crappy mvp they have this year.
as people always said, if penny, and grant hill, were never injured, what would they have become..
i personally like penny and grant a lot better than let say, leborn and kobe. probably because of how they act on and off the court.
Man, I don't think I've seen anyone hit more buckets at the end of Halfs or quarters as Michael. He also hit several halfcourt shots, the two that stick out in my mind is the one in the 1993 playoffs v. the Hawks and then in 1997 against the Sonics.
I'm trying to find a program that'll clean up some of the blurriness of some of my older games that I unfortunately haven't put on DVD yet. This is one of 'em..
I have a host of other games I'd like to post, but I gotta 1st find time to do this & then transfer 'em to my drive for editing purposes..
I loved watching Penney play, I was wondering do you have the game they played at the end of the season in Orlando televised on NBC, the game Shaq missed the first quarter
It's funny U mention that one. That was gonna be the next game I uploaded LOL!
Some guy sent me a message & asked me to take a look at some of the absurd comments by some of these dummy kobe homers regarding Penny & this era of the NBA.
Needless to say, I chin checked 'em & they couldn't say anything after I blasted their ass with the FACTS.
So that's what led me to posting this game, to showcase "JUST" how great penny TRULY was...

You know how Kobe has modeled his game after Jordan...I want to see someone who has modeled their game after Magic or Penny. It would be awesome!

"He broke down mentally after Shaq left" that's your point, not the truth. injuries didn't let grant hill and penny be the next boss of the league.
the TNT version of this game is a little better but as usual there is not enough replays in my opinion.
great game with the GOAT and the man who was promised to be his closest thing.

Yes penny hardaway was a great player, my opinion, better than kobe was for his time!!!

Penny was great, no doubt about that. kobe is a great player though.

2 completely different player. kobe is more like jordan, and penny more like magic.

I have wathced this video, but I think it's not enough.
I think you could make a better video than that clip.

You'd better to make a video to show the defense that jordan face.Statistics doesn't work when you face those kobe fans.

Bruce Blitz ALREADY has..it's called MJ vs 80's defenses:

remove the spaces.
This details a visual display of everything we've being saying for years. He also has uploaded a MJ vs 90's defenses series as well..
