"Diminutive SUV"? I guess the guy drives the Tahoe. As to the third row, it is a complete joke, and he was rightly disturbed. I would prefer a full-size spare instead. I am similarly surprised that my 2001 Focus wagon has no rear headrests, while the contemporary European model did. So much about safety features for American customers.
I just bought my my second one. I had a RVR (outlander sport in the U.S.) and we really liked it. My wife and I T-boned someone in it at 50mph and we both walked away with barly a scratch. The car was a totol write off and now we are buying one something we can tow with. In Canada we call it the Outlander XLS which is a fully loaded (minus the nav) with full leather seats. We just love it so far and everything this guy said is a crock. He must be a domestic car guy
The seats are leather and micro fiber very nice. the third row seat is just if you need if for a little kid not for a hundred pound guy. it was a nice little add on. The tail gate if you dont want to lean over it keep it up there again its another nice little add on. the seats are comfortable.
well, I'm glad I watched this review, I was really hopeing for a sporty SUV on a strong structure, but instead I learn that it is a thrown together, flimsy, hack job. Its looks are what sold me, but it just doesnt have power or proper interior design aspects, maybe if it had a bi-turbo or even a newer DOHC engine with a towing package I might consider even test driving one. To Conclude, Kinda dissapointed
Bad review!
