Here's the difference between Pokemon and Mother 3:

Pokemon isn't supposed to make you cry or laugh, it's just a cute little that's fun, and that's it. If you're crying while playing Pokemon, then something's wrong.

Mother 3 on the other hand, tries to make you laugh and cry, rather than make you build up teams to beat your friends and such.

Personally, I like Mother 3 better, and I think Pokemon's overrated (overrated doesn't mean bad, I actually like Pokemon) but it's your opinion that matters

And while pokemon may not be popular in your school, its really popular everywhere else. In my middle school, people thought i was weird for liking pokemon, but now in high school, almost everyone plays it and loves it.

And if people call you a freak because you play pokemon, then tell those assholes they're freaks for judging.

@zzxp1 Not really, you just need to learn the enemy weaknesses and use them against the enemies, utilizing the butterflies that appear in dungeons helps a great deal, the bosses are generally not hard, same goes for the enemies unless they start grouping up.

Lucas had lost his mother when he was (my guess) 9, his brother had then went missing for 3 years, he was giving the heavy responsibility of controlling the fate of the the Nowhere islands, in the end, he was forced to fight his brother... But he couldn't fight his own brother. Only Hinawa was able to settle the Corrupt, confused, and sad child...Claus.....Only the mother series can make you laugh, cry, yell in frustration, and leave you speechless.

@epicreshiramgirl I could probably spoil the entire plot of Mother 3 to completely destroy this so-called argument, but instead I'd recommend just playing through Mother 3 yourself and see just how depressing it is. There is stuff in this game that hasn't been touched by other games for years. Stuff that genuinely moved me even with minimal graphic support and lack of voice acting. What they managed was incredible.

I don't hate Pokemon, but don't you dare say that it's deeper than Mother 3.

normal a: slap attack(like peach's)

Up smash a: sparks in the air (kinda like zeldas)

Down smash: smack close to the ground (like peah's)

Side Smash: stronger smack

b: pk freeze ( a little weaker than lucas's)

Up b: pk thunder (faster but hard to control)

Down b: pk ground (sends close enemies flying andsends a small shockwave like kirbys up b)

Side b: pk fire (stronger than ness's pk fire)

Final smash: Pk starstorm while magypsies use random pk attacks

Regular A moves: kicks.

Forward smash: combo kick.

Up smash: Handstand kick.

Down smash: sweep kick.

Neutral B: Throws wall staples; damage and stun.

Forward B: Tickle stick. Ranged shield breaker.

Up B: Spinning kick, acts like a helicopter if used in the air. (Think Link's Spin attack.)

Down B: Smoke bomb. Enemy that gets hit by smoke bomb gets their controls jumbled briefly.

His physical attacks would be enough XP But if we speak Smash Bros terms, we've already seen the developers of the series fix Ness and Lucas with PSI skills they never had to fit game-play.
