  • Aw you're cairn is gorgeous. Mine has a purple harness too lol, mine's a brindle cairn.

  • Yes, you're right, Cairns are smarties, and I'm looking forward to trying this trick with both of mine. They both have learned other tricks quickly, so I'm sure they'll get this one fast. I had a dog once that I taught to say Mama...It was easy. I'll keep you posted! Thanks, LISA

  • Thanks for the tip. They have certain treats that they love, and I'll use the, Your dog really does sound like he or she is saying hello!

  • All I did was make her sit, then hold the treat out and tell her "Casey, say Hello" over and over.. at first she sort of made whining sounds and a few barks, but I kept repeating it and eventually she did too! You have to say it in a sort of low almost growly voice to get her/him to try to mimic the sound. Casey will say it high pitched or low pitched depending on how I say it. Cairns are very smart dogs, and very willing to please.. work on it, and let me know how it goes!! good luck!!

  • I have 2 CaIRNS, BUT THEY DON;T TALK. CASEY IS VERY IMPRESSIVE!

  • You can teach them very easily! with treats.. just work on it. Casey learned to "talk" in less than one hour with "beggin strips" her favorite treats!

  • Have you seen her other videos of her saying I love you and I love you too.. and ma ma?
