Teaching children to treat donkeys as objects to be abused and be cruel to. SHAME ON YOU! having FUN? do the donkeys look like they are having fun? this is a disgusting way to treat a living creature. Next year why don't you see how many of you let your family dogs be treated like this? would you?
We played it here, I was the person taking pictures, of the game for us, Every year, Okaongan, Has there donkey baseball, You have to get on your donkey, and someone pulling the donkey, to ge tto the bases, and when the person has the ball they have to get on there donkey, and throw the ball though.
Some rules where changed in your way of the game, but it all works. Watching alot of people get kicked off is hella funny!
I played donkey baseball when I was just 18 years old and had a blast. I still think about it every so often even though i'm 60 yrs old now. Just young girls in a very small town having fun.
I saw my first donkey baseball game in a small town in Texas about 1950. When they couldn't ride or pull the donkey to the next base some carried them. I think the rule is that the donkey and the player have to get there together.
Why we still got donkeys?
