To artismylife92, I thought it was okay. Chi was the only one I did not like. Scratch that, I thought she was horrible. It just didn't seem to fit her. Now, the original Japanese voice actress, she hit it SPOT ON. It was like she read my mind while reading the manga and copied the imaginary voice for Chi.

For all those people that complain about the current english dub of Death Note, view this. NOW. We should be thankful for Alessandro and Brad, because let's face it, compared to other dubs, Death Note is EPIC. Sure it's not as good as the original Japanese (in my opinion anyways), but if I hear another BELIEVE IT, I am going to kill somebody. I feel that the Death Note english dub is by far the greatest dub in anime today. And that Brian Drummond fit Ryuk more than Shido. Love your montage!

This is okay. It would confuse people that never heard of death not before though. Light's hair is brown, then it's red.

I think the voice actors are fine. It just takes time to get used to the new voices is all. If you never heard the original voices, you'd probably think that the voices fit perfectly.

that is true but I originally first heard Naruto's English dub voice and then up until ep40 I heard the japanese voice of naruto and thaught it was 10x better! Maybe i guess they do sorta fit
