While no exact figures are available, if the same percentage of potential foreign contributions found in the itemized contribution data is applied to the total $426.9 million the Obama camp says it has taken in from individuals, this could mean that Obama is financing his presidential campaign with anywhere from $13 million to a whopping $63 million from overseas credit cards or foreign currency purchases.
The Obama camp claims to have 2.5 million donors in all. But until now, they have kept secret the names of the overwhelming majority of these money-givers. According to a Newsmax analysis, the Obama campaign finance records contain just 370,448 unique names.
As of the end of August, those secret donors have given an incredible $222.7 million to Obama, according to the FEC -- money whose origin remains unknown to anyone other than Obamas finance team, who wont take calls from the press.
The Republican National Committee has filed a complaint against the Obama campaign for accepting prohibited contributions from foreign nationals and excessive contributions from individuals, which incorporated reporting from Newsmax and other news organizations.

About the Rev. Wright thing - those two clips were relating to two different sets of comments made by the reverend. That doesn't necessarily make it okay, but it's worth noting.

The technology for Clean coal is still not discovered. We have already technologies for wind, solar, hydrogen technologies. Obama is missing the point when he says not talking with hostile countries is not a punishment. Talks should be conditional, and used as a REWARD; as an incentive to change their behaviour. Whenever talks with Iran are tried, they waste everyone's time. Setting preconditions at least demands some action as a sign of commitment to talks and diplomacy.

Obama has never said he did not say he would meet with out pre-conditions but most people on the right seem to not understand what McCain means when he say pre-condition. Pre-conditions basically tell your enemy they must surrender their position on an issue before you will actually talk to them. No leader would agree. Wake-Up People!

I'll try to remind you who was right about that 4 years from now if Obama wins. He has promised to stop building any coal or natural gas plants, and continue the ban on nuclear energy. He also has promised not to lift the ban on getting our oil sands out of Colorado,or drilling for oil anywhere in the US. BTW This week he is down to 90k on who gets a raise in income taxes.

That's a very good video. A lot of the points were very true, and I thought it was clever. There are a few things I want to say though:
About the Rev. Wright thing - those two clips were relating to two different sets of comments made by the reverend. That doesn't necessarily make it okay, but it's worth noting.
Also - meeting without preconditions, which is what Obama said he would do, is different from meeting without preparation, which is what Obama said he would NOT do. Just a note there.

Second, consult your dictionary on preconditions versus preparations. The entire point of talks/diplomacy is to try to resolve problems. Obama is missing the point when he says not talking with hostile countries is not a punishment. Talks should be conditional, and used as a REWARD; as an incentive to change their behaviour. Whenever talks with Iran are tried, they waste everyone's time. Setting preconditions at least demands some action as a sign of commitment to talks and diplomacy.
Ahmedinejad is going to love to talk Obama's ear off, and vice versa, and both will say that's a sign of progress, but really it's futile.

It is important people educate themselves and not let people distort things. Obama always clearly explains his positions. These clips don't give the full story. Obama has never said he did not say he would meet with out pre-conditions but most people on the right seem to not understand what McCain means when he say pre-condition. Pre-conditions basically tell your enemy they must surrender their position on an issue before you will actually talk to them. No leader would agree. Wake-Up People!

Also, who ever put this together is as stupid as Sarah Palin in regards to what a pre-condition is. Like Obama explains there would be low level diplomatic talks before any out and out meeting. The majority of these clips are cherry-picked soundbites from his speeches. Anyone can be painted negatively if you edit them right. I can find hundreds of clips on youtube that show McCain backpedaling. Thats not the issue candidates change there views all the time. Its not necessarily back-peddling. Even with this video, Obama is still a hell of a better choice than McCain. You say McCain has leadership, but unfortunately that leadership is for the Republican agenda, which is has brought us to the horrible condition the USA is in today.
