  • I could not agree more!

  • Enjoyed your video.I agree coconut oil is wonderful.

  • Tatoos are disquesting ..period.

  • @danvelgtr ...and so is your spelling...smh

  • the tattoo on your shoulder looks good..thanks for the video

  • I do this also!

  • I love coconut oil, thanks!

  • @ColombianaXO7 I normally use 2 coconuts, I would smash them and grater the coconut or you can dice them small and put it into a blender with water. But I normally grater it, then I boil hot water and pour it over the shredded coconut then strain the strain the coconut and throw away the trash and boil the coconut water left behind. Then I put the coconut water on the stove and boil it until it turns lumpy and after awhile it will start to turn into oil. I hope that helps,

  • my mother makes our virgin coconut oil in her kitchen and ever since we started using it, our hair was stronger and it grew longer and my dry skin because supple and soft. I recommend making your own oil instead of buying it.

Also never use to much!!! What I did was put a few drops in my body wash and a few drops in my lotion and rub it once a week in my hair. Best regimen ever!!! Trust me it works

  • @cydashlee You should do a video on how to make it.

  • I think it's important the kind of coconut oil you use. Stay away from the cheap brands, the refined brands, and the coconut oil in "plastic containers". I use this same regiment for my skin (I'm African American prone to dry skin), it works wonders on my skin.

  • add either a spoonful to your hot coffee in the morning or your hot oatmeal. it'll melt easily.

  • I've been oil pulling with coco nut oil for my receding gums, by the way you have true beauty your face is totally symetrical you look very healthy.

    call me ...............j/k

  • Hmmm....can I make it?? hmmm

  • Great Video! Thanks.

  • 19000+ views and only 1 hater; that's a rarity on youtube- especially for a video pertaining to skin care :0

  • great stuff !

  • That's awesome! I just came across this video and you do the exact same regime as I do with my face! Dr.Bronners soap (usually tea-tree or eucalyptus), and then organic virgin coconut oil as the moisturizer. I also use this organic virgin coconut oil on my entire body (after it is washed by Dr. Bronner's of course ;) )

  • Good vid. Thanks!

  • Man coconut oil is super pore clogging. I can def see it works for you though, your skin is gorgeous. My skin is naturally acne prone def wouldn't be for me. I've always wanted to use it that way though because I love coconut.

  • I used to have terrible acne and now have perfect sking thanks to those two products! the best regieme i have found is to wash your face with warm water to open the pores, use dr bronners to wash out the drit, then rinse your face with cold water apply coconut oil and then slowly rub an ice cube over your face and gently make sure you cover your whole face and dont stop until the ice cube has finished. This will seal your pores and aid the coconut oil in moisturising! X

  • WHAT DOES EXPELLER PRESSED MEAN? DID I GRAB THE WRONG JAR??

  • Wooow!!!! U are beautifull and i love those tatoos !!! =D.... I start using coconut oil today, Organic fresh press from whole foods!!! 3 table spons a day !!!! let's see how it goes!!

  • You're just another gorgeous proof that raw-food rocks!!!!!

Thanks for inspiring people and spreading the message!!!!

  • When I use coconut oil on my face, it bothers my eyes and they are itchy and red. I love it on my body though. I still have to find replacement for my face skin cream.

  • yes been doing the same ..love coconuts..

  • @Mariposakisses did you breakout from coconut oil, i mean did you put it on your face? I think i've developed some kind of rash from it, and i don't know how long it will last, praying to god!

  • @BurnKilluminati no never break out from coconut oil..put it on my hair and skin in the shower before and after washing..it heals my skin . what kind r u using? Sorry to hear that. Use a clay mask with sulpher and zinc to calm it down then use aloe vera only for awhile..

  • @Mariposakisses I am using virgin coconut oil (cold pressed, organic), but i feel like it was clogging my pores, i just don't know how long i will keep getting these tiny whiteheads, it's nothing major, but still, i get two tiny spots a day!

  • @BurnKilluminati dont use so much of it .Put it on and rinse off with water so there is only a thin film of coconut oil..I sell organic Argon oil ,u can try that if u like. straight from Morocco.

  • @Mariposakisses i only pat it on, i rub a little in the palm of my hands and fingers and dab it on my face, i use very minimum, but i thikn i developed some sort of rash from it.

  • is there a way to combine coconut oil and sunscreen?

  • Classic @ 2:37... the smell of the coconut oil, through the nose and to the brain...your facial recognition of that smell? priceless :)

  • im obsessed with your hair color! and style

  • Do you use any kind of sunscreem?

  • Do you use any kind of sunscreem?

  • Do you use any kind of sunscreem?

  • I have been taking coconut oil for years now and it did wonders to me especially for my acne..though i complement it with using proactiv. But lately i discovered applying it to my face and it does wonders. i feel that my skin became "fresher" looking! I recommend this to people who are starting to have sagging skin etc.

  • You asked for natural product to wash your face. I have been using honey just straight honey to wash my face twice a day. I have been using this for a year and it works beautifully. At first I was mixing lemon juice and ground up oatmeal or flax for exfoliation and moisturizer. My face has the oily T-zone and so adding flax made my skin soft, but too oily. Since I have just been using honey only. I still use moisturizer, but now I will try coconut oil instead.

  • I use Dari Natural's Skin care products and so far I find it the best! Because it really works for my sensitive skin. Their products are made from unrefined shea butter, pure olive oil, castor oil, jojoba, calendula and chamomile. It feels amazing on the skin! They make all natural body washes, facial cleansers, lotions, creams and body butters. I love using their body lotion, especially after shaving, because that's the only brand that doesn't cause any irritation.

  • love coconut oil...

  • did you use the coconut oil for your tattoos? is it ok to use it for the after care when you get a new tattoo??

  • I love Coconut Oil but if I put it on my face my pores on my nose become worse and I still get zits. I have combination skin .... I wish it did work for me :(

  • @TheGypsyGirl72 R U eating a lot of dairy, or drinking milk? That is like pouring toxic sludge into your "machine" lol

The best thing you can do for your skin is detoxify/colon-cleanse.

  • @nickatnoon61 Hey, no I don't overly eat dairy, etc. I am vegetarian so I try to have a glass here and there for calcium and protein (I think soy is not that healthy due to the chemical processing used). The milk I usually drink is unhomogenised and I also try to get unpastuerised to. I eat only a little cheese and definately not daily. I think you may have a point with dairy causing pimples though, along with stress from study. But, I do like milk occassionally ?? not sure what else to do.

  • what do you use on your hair? like for shampoo and conditioner...??

  • great job! You covered it all! Thanks!

  • I think Skincare industry will collapsed if everyone starts to use coconut oil. Wow. I'm so glad that I won't spend another dime for expensive skincare product. The power of nature.

  • After cleaning my face at night, I just massage my face with coconut oil, and with remaining oil on my hand, I simply hand-comb through my hair. In the morning, my skin looks so rested. Amazing!!!! In the morning, after shower, I just deep my two fingers and and massage my face (need only small amount). After that, I apply mineral (I think it's much better than chemical sunscreen) sunblock. That's it. All day long, my skin looks so gorgeous.

  • I'm using another brand of Organic Extra Virgin Cold-pressed conconut oil, and this oil is fantastic. I used lots of different brand skin care products such as Kiehl's, Sisley, Lancome, Estee Lauder, Aveda, Pangea Organics, etc. I just can't count how many brand and how much I spent for my skincare product. After knowing coconut oil through one of my friends, oh my gosh!!! It changed my whole skin care regime. I have only 2 things to use on my face, Coconut oil and mineral sunblock cream.

  • i'm definitely buying this tomorrow! :D

btw, do u still use face wash?

  • i thought that you could use grapeseed oil when cooking because it has a high smoke point and hence doesnt change into a carcinogen? I was also told that you should only ingest 2-3 tbs of coconut oil per day

  • Dr. Bronner's is too harsh for my skin. As for cooking with oils, I wouldn't lump in olive oil with soybean oil. The former is a monounsaturate, which means that it has some saturated fat in it and is more heat-stable than a polyunsaturate.

  • Oh wow, I checked and you can make coconut oil with appliances like blenders, shredders, juicers, dehydrators, etc. depending on how raw you want to be and what appliances you have.

  • I used dr bronners for a few years and didn't like it. The coconut oil sounds very interesting. I'm a male, I have a good diet and no skin problems but because I'm reasonably physical I get dirty from time to time and although I used dr bronners I eventually found stuff that worked better, I am going to check out the coconut oil and find out if I can make it from raw young coconuts, with basic appliances like juicers and blenders i have no idea

  • @whothehellgivesadamn : You have to use a combo of young and mature (brown) coconuts. The younger the coconut, the less fat they have. There's a video out there where the guy extracts the oil and then blends it with young coconut flesh. It's not 100% oil but it's really good.

  • I love this, thanks :D i too have simplified my skin care immensely! its amazing what our bodies can do when we stop covering them with chemicals :) Namaste <3

  • Are you RawRadiantHealth's sister?

    You guys kinda look alike.

  • @karenbcz22 Thats funny becasue I saw a similarity as well. Like they could be related but also in the way they pronounced certain words. :)

  • ps.Good video btw :)

  • How do you use dr bronner?I bought the same that you have to wash my face but I find a little too strong!Do you have to dilute in water?Thank you for the help :)

  • Do you wear sunscreen?

  • coconut oil is amazing it realy is

  • coconut oil is good for your gums too because it has antiseptic properties :) i LOVEEE it!! awesome video by the way! i really like you and your personality and your tips so i subbed :)

  • we do hot thing over 160ºwhen we are cooking for example a egg?

  • It is correct about using it as toothpaste ;) Obviously no need to combine it with the regular bad toxic-fluoride pastes, just brush your teeth firstly with clear water, and after that massage your gums and teeth with the coconutoil :) Other tip, there is no difference in virgin or extra virgin coconut oil, This term virgin only applies to oliveoil. Just regular 100% coconutoil from exotic food shops , preferrably in glas, otherwise take it from the plastic container and put it in glas ;) peace

  • Just wondering what do you use to protect your skin from uv rays? Do you use any sunscreen?

  • After watching your video I began using both Bronner's soap and coconut oil and have had positive results. Within two days my skin looked and felt "healthier", so I recommended coconut oil to a friend who has had dry skin for years. Yesterday he sent me an email telling me the coconut oil was working remarkably well and his skin had not felt that hydrated in years, so a big thank you for this video. It was great advice and it works!

  • I don't have much money so I just use olive oil. Also, avocados and olives moisterizes the hair and skin beautifully. I also do something special with my hair. I wet my hair, then I soak it with olive oil but I don't wipe it off. I let it marinade for a few hours then I wash it off with cool water (no saop or shampoo) but I don't dry it, I leave it damp and let the air dry it out. The end result is WOW! Epic curls is revealed. Try it.

  • i'm so like you. I used to have dry skin.

Ever since I started taking flaxseed oil or pills with omega 3, 6, 9, and many others (12, 7, etc) ... gone. I no longer have dry skin on my face. I no longer BUY products "for dry skin" or "dry scalp". Actually, I don't buy products anymore except for facial cleanser (if you have a natural alternative other than oil cleansing method, plz let me know). I might switch to african black soap for facial soap but I need to do more research.

  • @quitejaded To wash my face I just use dr bronners soap and that works nice. Whatever is natural and dosent dry out your face, you should use...

  • @TheRawalicious Hey Rawalicious, try H2O2 on your toothbrush also. It kills the bacteria in your mouth and freshens your breath, and whitens teeth. Just a few (5) drops of 35% food grade. Then rinse the brush, add a few drops again, and brush your tongue. It really foams up as it kills the bacteria/toxins!

  • @quitejaded theres such a thing as omega 12! Wow I've been using sea buckthorn pills and those work like a dream...

  • @mexifaith what are sea buckthorn pills?

  • @12brigette34 google them they're pills from a berry that only grows in the himalayans and they're hit with exreme sun rays but somehow manage to stay well perserve...they are loaded with omega 3, 6, 7,9 and they're suppose to help with acne, eczema, any skin problem. It's an anti inflammatory and its amazing! just take a look at my skincare vid has all the info there!

  • @quitejaded ever try raw organic honey as a face wash?

  • Fabulous vid! I love coconut oil, I call it one of God's miracle foods. It's wonderful for so many things!

  • Yes, it is GREAT in smoothies... makes them creamy and delicious.

  • Great vid! Pretty much the same for me; some liquid natural soap and raw organic coconut oil for skincare. Last night I threw out out all the bottles of moisturizers, scrubs, clay, shampoos that I do not use anymore; it's nice to have a minimal amount of products! The coconut oil seems to help with some acne scars I had. I also sometimes use avocado oil for skin around the eyes, it's supposedly a good anti-wrinkle. The raw food is what has really made a difference with my skin though!

  • do u use anything for body skin? I use Flax oil instead of dif. body lotions and coconut oil sometimes.

  • i use only coconut oil to face too!!! i use to use Jojoba oil but it's easier for me (In Russia0 to fing high qulity Coconut oil then Jojoba. Also I use coconut oil for skin around eyes and for eye lashes also

  • Thanks so much for this video! Great info, and your skin is Stunning, glowing and flawless!!!

  • @Missrosebud29 thanks so much!!!! thats sooooo sweet::))

  • hi Dee ! can you help me ? i don t understand (i italian), i was one of the 21-days road to raw!what s for coconut oil? and what s the other product ?XXX

  • @veru1975 coconut oil and dr bronners soap. You can buy raw virgin organic coconut online or at your health food store. Dr. Bronners is a brand of organic soaps. xo

  • @TheRawalicious Hi, I replaced butter with coconut oil years ago. A pinch of himalayan crystal salt, and most people wouldn't notice the difference in taste. I used to love the taste of butter, but the dairy cows that are abused are more important! I enjoyed this video more than the smoothie one b/c you didn't wear any make-up. If you have a healthy glow it isn't necessary is it? lol

  • Respond to this video... great video. I use the oil both internally, and externally, and the wrinkles on my face, chest, neck, and arms have almost disappeared from using it for a few years now. I am 58. The FIR sauna also really helps too! A great investment!
