@Vodje01 No, that's disk manufacturer Weasel Megabytes. A real megabyte is 1048576 bytes, or 8,388,608 bits. 10 million bits per second equals 1.19 megabytes per second.

@Roxor128 You are making the same mistake a lot of people make.. you cant look at download speed with file size.. I've learned a long time ago that if you have 8 mbits "no megabytes" your actual download speed is 1 megabyte a second. Always divide by 8.

I am in Ukraine and currently I'm using the 10 MBits package for which I pay which about 8 dollars (60 гревен). My download speed is fluctuates between 1.3-1.5 MBytes/sec. Actually there is also another package worth around 12 dollars which is 30 MBits. The cheapest package is 2 MBits and this is around 4 dollars. Actually it is also very fast but I'm happy with 1.3-1.5 MBytes/sec download speed which is really not slow.

An uppercase B means Bytes, and a lowercase b means bits. There are 8 bits in a Byte so:

EXAMPLE

20Mb/s megabits per second = 2.5MB/s MegaBytes per second or 20480Kb/s Kilobits per second or 2560KB/s KiloBytes per second. Meaning if it says 20mbs broadband u get like 2.5MB per sec download speed, for 100m shud be like 7-10MB per sec. You dont get the actual 100mb per sec looool that wud be awsume tho
